Description

During the military conflict in Ukraine, the Józef Szaniawski Foundation and a group of Polish professionals called "Initiative - Support for the Ambulance and Territorial Defense of Ukraine" have been asked to fundraise for the urgent purchase of ambulances for the wounded and cars to support defense operations and support vehicles for the Territorial Defense of Ukraine, which, among the other things, provides help to the injured during the fights.

We have received inquiries about ambulances and support vehicles from Kyiv, Szumsk and Rivne.

The recipients of the equipment are medics and the Territorial Defense of Ukraine, which provides help to the wounded during the fights.

Due to bombarding, the Territorial Defense of Ukraine has almost no cars to transport the wounded civilians and soldiers. Fundraised money will be used to purchase ambulances or cars that can be used as ambulances. After the technical inspection and refuelling, the equipment will be handed over to the Ukrainian side as soon as possible. We have direct contact with representatives of the Territorial Defense of Ukraine in several cities.

One such a car has already been handed over and is used at the war front (see the photos).

The Józef Szaniawski Foundation has existed since 2012. Runs the Cold War Museum onin Warsaw (formerly the General Kuklinski Memorial Chamber - Izba Pamięci Generała Kuklińskiego). The patron of the Foundation and the founder of the Museum was a journalist of the Radio Free Europe, sentenced to 10 years in prison by the communist authorities in 1986.
