Dodatkowo i pewnie co ważniejsze celem jest także:

b) nauka myślenia strategicznego

c) rozwój interpersonalny i psychologiczny podczas walki z oponentem

Czym jest wargaming historyczny?

To forma aktywnego spędzania czasu w formie rozgrywek najczęściej stołowych, do których aby móc przystąpić należy rozwinąć umiejętności nie tylko strategiczne ale również modelarskie jak i historyczne. To sposób na spędzanie wolnego czasu z dużo większą dodatnią niż gra komputerowa.

Czym maja być Miszczostwa?

Elitarnym turniejem zwieńczającym cały wysiłek graczy podczas przygotowania do wydarzenia. Wydarzenie ma dążyć wraz z swoim rozwojem do coraz nowszych i ciekawszych rozwiązań walcząc o miano bycia prekursorem podobnych wydarzeń.

Dlaczego to robię?

Bo jest to moja pasja i widząc jak wiele jest w niej dobrego, staram się nią zarażać swoim entuzjazmem młodych ludzi, odciągając ich tym sposobem od marnotrastwa czasu na gry multimedialne. A przy okazji w formie zabawy pokazywać piękno Polskiej historii.

Co planuję nowego w stosunku do poprzedniej edycji?

Poza wykonaniem kolejnych stołów dla graczy (przewidywana ilość uczestników ok 70+ osób) chciałbym też utrzymać obsługę multimedialną samego wydarzenia podnosząc tym jej odbiór wizualny. Dodatkowo w najbliższej edycji chcę wygospodarować środki dla renomowanych sędziów i osób do obsługi wydarzenia podnosząc prestiż i profesjonalność samego wydarzenie. W planach jest też występ rekonstrukcyjny. W tym roku odwiedzi nas też zapewne więcej osób zagranicy.

I co najważniejsze obecnym motywem przewodnim jest historia nie tylko sukcesów oręża polskiego ale też zrywu narodu podczas potopu, gdzie odnotowano cały szereg ingerencji Matki Boskiej w ten fragment naszej historii. Znana zapewne historia Oborny Jasnej Góry to tylko czubek góry lodowej. Mamy piękną historię i warto ją poznawać i pokazywać innym.

Na co przeznaczę zebrane środki?

Zebrane środki starają się pokryć koszty samego wydarzenia które ponoszę. To koszty najmu sali, gadżetów dla uczestników, cateringu, wyposażenia stołów (maty tereny). Zakup pamiątkowych medali, szabli i nagród dla zwycięzców. Obsługi personalnej wydarzenia. Zakupu środków malarskich na wykonanie terenów, kosztów tworzenia modeli kolekcjonerskich dla uczestników i wspierających.

Opłaty tzw "wejściówki" nie są w stenie pokryć samego wydarzenia.

Dlatego drogi czytelniku jeśli chcesz być fragmentem czegoś dobrego nawet w postaci symbolicznych 5 zł zapraszam serdecznie :)

"Trochę czasu od turnieju minęło i emocje już opadły więc na spokojnie można powiedzieć że to był turniej poprowadzony od gracza dla graczy. Widać że Organizatorom rola ta sprawia dużo radości i to też ma odbicie na wspaniałej atmosferze tam panującej. "The organization of the tournament was amazing, as one of the first three players from outside of Poland I was happy to see, that the communication was excellent and everything was well prepared including publication of pairings on a tournament website. We kindly invite you to take part and support with a donation the five edition of “Otwarte Miszczostwa Krakowa” (“Open Championship of Cracow”).

For several years as a professional logistics teacher, in my free time I promote and develop the youths' interest in history and strategic thinking. The culmination of such an approach became the tournaments, to which I invite all enthusiasts of the strategic battle game “By Fire and Sword”.

The game, from the so called non-electric category, in which we combine not only strategic abilities, but also enthusiasm for model making and history.

For those unfamiliar with the topic, I’ll allow myself to present it in a quick discussion “question - answer”.

What is the event itself?

It's a nationwide tournament made by and for enthusiasts of the game “By Fire and Sword” by the Polish publisher Wargamer. But also, parallelly it showcases elements such as simulation of great historic battles and education in the form of a fun exploration of the history of Poland and 17th-century Europe

What is the purpouse of the tournament?

In the spirit of fair-play, determining the winner during the two-day competition.

Additionaly and perhaps more importantly, the goals also include:

1. promoting the history of Poland and Europe in 17th-century
2. teaching strategic thinking
3. fostering interpersonal and psychological development during competing with an opponent
4. teaching the values of sportmanship
5. promotion of non-electric games as an alternative to computer and smartphone games.
6. showing that it is possible to spend time with peers, as well as with people younger or older, in a cultured manner, with respect for others, and in the spirit of competition

It’s sometimes hard to believe that in this community on the field of battle, for example, an attorney running a law firm can meet on "equal footing" a high school student, discussing history during an intellectual competition. In the end, they both shake hands, congratulating each other on the shared experience.

What exactly is historical wargaming?

It is an active form of spending time in a form of tabletop games, where in order to participate, one must not only develop strategic skills, but also model – making and historical knowledge. It’s a way to spend free time with much more benefits than playing computer games.

What are the “Miszczostwa” meant to be?

An elite tournament, crown achivement for players preparing for it. The event aspires to lead the way in interesting and innovative solutions for similar tournaments.

Why am I doing this?

Because wargaming is my passion, and seeing how much good it can bring, I try to inspire young people with my enthusiasm, pulling them back from wasting time on computer games. And along that, showcasing the beauty of Polish history in a fun way.

What's new in the new edition?

In addition to providing transportation for the players (the expected number of participants is approximately 70+), multimedia support for the event itself will also be provided, increasing or decreasing the number of participants. Additional information about the event must be provided for judges and event staff, enhancing the prestige and professional quality of the event itself. A reenactment performance is also planned. This year, we may also welcome more international visitors.

And most importantly, the main theme is the story not only of the Polish military, but also of the nation's uprising during the Deluge, where all the ranks of the Virgin Mary's intervention are found in ten fragments of our history. The well-known story of Oborna Jasne Góra is just the tip of the iceberg. We have history, and it's worth knowing more about it.

What will I spend the funds on?

The funds raised will cover the costs of the event itself, which I incur. These include venue rental, merchandise for participants, catering, table equipment (terrain mats), commemorative medals, sabers, and prizes for winners, event staffing, painting supplies for the terrain, and the cost of creating collectible models for participants and supporters.

The entry fees are not sufficient to cover the event itself.
