Hello, my name is Gracjan Szulecki.

Currently "living" with my partner, and my parents in Poland. However, our long-term plans have always been to move out, and we worked with that goal in mind. Nontheless, life isn't always so rosy as to hand you what you want on a silver platter, and health issues, car issues, hospital visits, medications, doctor visits, have set us back basically most of our savings. Unfortunately, there is no way for us to make it in time anymore in terms of money, and if we do not move by the end of September, my partner's Belgian ID will expire, thus erasing their Belgian identity, and all of our efforts, as well as our last chance to get them the healthcare that my partner REALLY needs.

My partner suffers from chronic pain due to Ehlers Danlos syndrome, severe gastroparesis, chronic fatigue, POTS and seizures. . We tried to get help in Poland, however, it was not to be. Most hospitals have turned us down due to:

A) no Polish ID for my partner, and they would not accept a HEIC card

B) no open "beds", thus my parnter couldn't be admitted, and the earliest admittance date we were told of, is in December, while my partner is trying to live with a constant 8 - 9/10 pain every single day despite having been given Tramadol (an opiod painkiller)

C) specialist care is also very expensive and it would cost all of our leftover money. They are in need of a rheumatologist, gastroenterologist and neurologist.

My partner is also in need of mobility aids as their cane can no longer support them and they have painful dislocations from movement, and a sleeping setup because they wake up every day with dislocated shoulders/hips.

They lost most of their mobility and a wheelchair is needed most days but we cannot afford one as they can be very expensive, and they cannot propel themselves due to extreme fatigue.

Mobility aids needed:

-knee braces

-custom orthotics

-hand and finger braces

-wheelchair (preferably electric as they can't propel themselves)

-a better quality cane for moving around the house (old one causes wrist pain and is not stable enough)

We are at this point, out of options, my partner's mother is trying to help as much as she can, but there's only so much she can do, while not having a house of her own (as she's currently staying at her friend's place in Belgium, and there simply isn't any space for us in there). She is however looking for an affordable place for us, but that is also proving to be a challange, as they all demand rent downpayment(s) that are well in excess of our capabilities (on average it is around 2200 to 2400 euros or 3-months worth of rent), that is why the goal is so high.
