Wesprzyj Kluby w Tbilisi – Broń Kultury, Broń Wolności

Pod koniec 2024 roku premier Gruzji, Irakli Kobachidze, ogłosił wycofanie kraju z rozmów akcesyjnych z Unią Europejską. Decyzja ta wywołała falę protestów przeciwko coraz bardziej pro-rosyjskiej polityce partii rządzącej - Gruzińskie Marzenie, która trwa do dziś.

Od początku tego kryzysu tbiliska scena klubowa stanęła ramię w ramię z protestującymi. Kluby zawiesiły działalność imprezową i odegrały kluczową rolę w logistyce manifestacji. Niestety, wiąże się to z ogromnymi trudnościami finansowymi i rosnącą presją ze strony władz miasta, co może doprowadzić do zniknięcia tych miejsc z mapy Tbilisi.

W ramach projektu Dancing Through Oppression uruchomiliśmy zbiórkę, której celem jest wsparcie finansowe czterech kluczowych klubów Tbilisi: BASSIANI, KHIDI, TES oraz LEFT BANK. To wyjątkowe miejsca, które pokazują, że kultura klubowa to coś znacznie więcej niż tylko zabawa — to realne działanie na rzecz dobra wspólnoty.

Pokażmy im, że nie są sami.

At the end of 2024, the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, announced that the country would withdraw from accession talks with the European Union. This decision sparked a wave of protests against the increasingly pro-Russian policies of the ruling party -  Georgian Dream, which continues to this day.

From the very beginning of this crisis, the Tbilisi club scene has stood shoulder to shoulder with the protesters. The clubs suspended their events and have played a crucial role in supporting the logistics of the demonstrations. Unfortunately, this has led to severe financial difficulties and growing pressure from the city authorities, which could result in these venues disappearing from the map of Tbilisi.

As part of the Dancing Through Oppression project, we have launched a fundraiser to provide financial support to four key clubs in Tbilisi: BASSIANI, KHIDI, TES, and LEFT BANK. These exceptional places show that the club culture is about much more than just entertainment — it’s about taking real action for the good of the community.

Let’s show them they’re not alone.
