Dwa dni temu (11.08.2020) jacht Sharki zatonął. Uratowani zostali ludzie,ale jacht został w morzu. Dla nas akcja ratownicza trwa nadal. Robimy wszystko, żeby go uratować.

Vor zwei Tagen (11. August 2020) sank die Yacht Sharki. Menschen konnten gerettet werden, aber die Yacht blieb auf See liegen. Die Bergungsaktion geht für uns weiter. Wir tun alles, um sie zu retten.

Two days ago (August 11, 2020) yacht Sharki sank. People were saved, but the yacht was left at sea. The rescue operation continues for us. We are doing everything to save him.

Zaprojektowany przez znane amerykańskie biuro projektowe Sparkman&Stephens. Wybudowany w niemieckiej stoczni Burmester w 1972 roku, specjalnie dla niemieckiego teamu, startującego w regatach Admiral's Cup (pod nazwą "Rubin"), który w 1973 roku zwyciężył w tych regatach.

Sie wurde von dem berühmten amerikanischen Büro - Sparkman & Stephens entworfen und in der deutschen Burmester Werft 1972 speziell für die deutsche Mannschaft gebaut, die an der Admiral's Cup Regatta teilnahm. Saudade, Carina III und Rubin (Sharki) gewannen diese Regatta 1973.

Designed by the famous American office - Sparkman & Stephens. Built in the German Burmester shipyard in 1972, especially for the German team, taking part in the Admiral's Cup regatta. Saudade, Carina III and Rubin (Sharki) won this regatta in 1973.

W tej chwili jacht leży na dnie w okolicach Cuxhaven. Dzisiaj wieczorem (13.08.2020) podjęta zostanie próba, wyciągnięcia jachtu z wody. Mamy już szacunkowe koszty. To ok 25tys euro. Przekraczaja nasze możliwości finansowe. Prosimy bardzo o pomoc. Sami - nie damy rady.

Zur Zeit liegt die Yacht auf dem Grund bei Cuxhaven. Heute Abend (13.08.2020) wird der Versuch unternommen, die Yacht aus dem Wasser zu holen. Wir haben bereits einen Kostenvoranschlag. Das sind etwa 25.000 Euro. Sie übersteigen unsere finanziellen Möglichkeiten. Wir bitten Sie um Ihre Hilfe. Allein schaffen wir es nicht.

2 days ago (August 11th) yacht Sharki sunk near Cuxhaven, Germany, 9km from shore, depth 15m. While going at night under sail with speed 10-11 kn, due to negligence of the 2nd officer being on watch, the yacht hit navigational bouy. The buoy devastated approx 2.5m x 0.5m of yacht's starboard. Yacht started rapidly taking water, and in spite of immediate and determined actions to stop the leak, in 15 min it was almost completely sunk and stopped answering to the helm. We called for help and immediately after had to abandon the yacht. We got into the emergency raft and Sharki went under in several minutes. For a moment we saw the toplight under the surface but it disappeared soon.

Official rescue mission is completed, but for us it is still on. Under the sea surface remained the fundamental member of the crew. We may not abandon Sharki. It's sturdy and reliable yacht in any circumstances and it never failed. The sinking is on us.

Yesterday the topmast surfaced in pendulum motion and dived again. The hull got straithened up for a moment and next laid down the the opposide board. We read it as "I'm still there and wait".

We do what we can to get Sharki on shore as soon as possible. Hopefully it will be taken out from the water tonight. 

We know that the costs shall be huge.

Up to now it was us helping others in need on the seas. Today it's us in dire need. We are compelled to ask for financial contribution. We are not able to finance it on our own.

Please help us to refloat and restore Sharki.
