What have we done already?

Niedawno otworzyliśmy pierwszy w Warszawie ogród sensoryczny. Projekt "Ceramiczny Ogród Botaniczny" finansowany przez Biuro Kultury m.st. Warszawy polegał na stworzeniu instalacji ceramicznych oddziałujących na zmysły: wzroku, słuchu i dotyku. Elementy do instalacji wykonane zostały podczas arteterapeutycznych warsztatów z ceramiki z udziałem dzieci z Zespołu Szkół Specjalnych nr 91 w Warszawie, a instalacja została zaprojektowana i zmontowana przez tegorocznych absolwentów Wydziału Rzeźby Warszawskiej Akademii Sztuk Pięknych: Paulinę Gobiecką i Artema Dmytrenko.

Instalacje tworzą niewielki ogród sensoryczny i mogą być wykorzystywane w terapii osób z zaburzonym zmysłowym postrzeganiem świata, czyli przede wszystkim osób z: autyzmem, zespołem Aspergera i zespołem Downa. Dzięki ich istnieniu możemy uwrażliwiać osoby pełnosprawne na problemy z jakimi na co dzień borykają się niektóre osoby niepełnosprawne.

We have recently opened the first sensory garden in Warsaw. The project ‘Ceramic Botanical Garden’ was financed by the Culture Department of the capital city, Warsaw. We have made ceramic installations affecting the senses: sight, hearing and touch. All the elements needed for the installations were made during the art therapy ceramic workshops with the children from the Special School No. 91 in Warsaw. The installation was designed and assembled by: Paulina Gobiecka and Artem Dmytrenko - this year's graduates of the Faculty of Sculpture, Warsaw Academy of Fine Art.

The installations form a small sensory garden which can be used for theraputic purposes in people with impaired sensory perception of the world mainly with autism, Asperger's syndrome and Down's syndrome. They can also make people without disabilities sensitive to the problems people with disabilities face every day.

Projekt"Ceramiczny Ogród Botaniczny" spotkał się z bardzo pozytywnym odzewemdyrekcji i pracowników Ogrodu Botanicznego w Powsinie, mieszkańców Warszawy i okolic oraz zainteresowaniem medialnym. Dlatego też na wiosnę chcemy wzbogacićOgród Botaniczny w Powsinie o kolejne dwa obiekty sensoryczne. Będą one działaćna wzrok, słuch i dotyk. Aby móc rozpocząć prace już teraz potrzebujemy Twojejpomocy!

The "Ceramic Botanical Garden" has received a very positive response from the management and staff of the Botanical Garden in Powsin, residents of Warsaw and the surrounding area, as well as media interest. That’s why in the spring we would like to add two further sensory objects to the Botanical Garden in Powsin. They will affect the senses: sight, hearing and touch. To start work right now we need your help!

Fundusze / Funds

Potrzebujemy zebrać ok. 500,00 zł. Jeśli uda nam się zebrać więcej stworzymy więcej instalacji!

Ok. 80% kwoty planujemy przeznaczyć na:

- przeprowadzenie warsztatów z ceramiki podczas, których powstaną elementy do stworzenia kolejnych instalacji

- materiały na warsztaty, materiały do wykonania instalacji

- pokrycie kosztów wypałów i transportu

- wykonanie form gipsowych

Ok. 20% kosztów planujemy przeznaczyć na koszty administracyjne (m.in. obsługę księgową, przesłanie drobnych upominków, dla osób, które wesprą nasz projekt)

We need to to collect approx. 500 PLN. If we collect more, we will create more installations!

We plan to spend about 80% of the amount on:

- running ceramic workshops for the children with different disabilities, during which we will make elements for the new installations

- materials for workshops, materials for the installation

- costs of firing and transportation

- making plaster moulds

About 20% of the amount we plan to spend will be for the administrative costs (eg accounting, sending small gifts to people who will support our project).

Flower pins, to małe ceramiczne kwiatki w kształcie lotosów. Mogą być umieszczane w dziurach w murze, przerwach między płytami chodnikowymi, na plaży. Grunt, żeby dało się je sfotografować na 3 zdjęciach: makro, zdjęcie pośrednie oraz zdjęcie ukazujące flower pinsa i okolicę. Jeśli prześlesz te trzy zdjęcia flower pinsa/ów na adres: [email protected] z nazwą miejsca, w którym zostały one sfotografowane, umieścimy je na blogu: http://flowerpins.blogspot.com

Flower pins are small, ceramic flowers in the shape of lotuses. They can be placed in holes in walls, gaps between paving, on the beach etc. The only thing you have to do is to take 3 photographs: macro, intermediate image and a picture showing flowerpins and the surrounding area. If you send these three photos of the flowerpins to the adress: [email protected] with the name of the place, where they were taken, we will put them on the blog: http://flowerpins.blogspot.com

The Ceramics Garden Foundation was established in 2012 due to our passion for ceramics. The aims of our Foundation are primarily: the use of ceramics for art therapy and the promotion of ceramics as the form of arts. We have recently opened the first sensory garden in Warsaw. The project ‘Ceramic Bota­nical Garden’ was financed by the Culture Depart­ment of the capital city, Warsaw. We have made ceramic instal­la­tions affec­ting the senses: sight, hearing and touch.
