While we are preparing for a family Christmas full of joyful laughter, lonely seniors listen to the silence. When we sit down at a table full of dishes, they'll spend a lonely evening in an empty apartment. It doesn't have to be that way. The Little Brothers of the Poor Association has been supporting lonely senior people for many years. Thanks to the "Give Christmas Eve" campaign which is underway, we can help seniors.

Many of the elderly people we pass each day suffer in silence from loneliness. Anonymous, ignored, excluded. That is how seniors, who have forgotten what a merry Christmas is, feel.

- For a long time, for many people, I am just an "old lady". Those who knew me left or are dead. I spend Christmas alone. Sometimes I wonder if anyone else remembers me. - says one of our charges.

Together, we can make seniors stop feeling lonely and anonymous. Thanks to the donors, our charges will receive Christmas Eve dinner and the joy of the gift and our volunteers will reach them with a Christmas visit and wishes.

Christmas will regain a warm and joyful atmosphere and our charges will feel that they are important. We kindly ask you to support the "Podaruj Wigilię" campaign, which has been organized by our society for many years.

The cost of one Christmas Eve dinner for a senior is PLN 50. It is enough for an elder lonely person to feel the closeness to the other person. Every payment is important. Together, we can give seniors Christmas Eve, which gives joy and allows them to forget about loneliness.
