6 grudnia, w mikołajkowy poranek, nasz rodzinny dom stanął w płomieniach. Około godziny 8 rano sąsiedzi zauważyli pożar w domu, w którym od lat spokojnie mieszkali moi rodzice (emeryci) oraz moja 91-letnia babcia. W jednej chwili codzienność zamieniła się w dramat. Na miejsce przyjechała policja. Funkcjonariusze ewakuowali moją mamę, a potem wbiegli do środka, by uratować moją babcię. Chwilę później pojawiła się straż pożarna i karetka, a poranek, który miał być spokojnym dniem, stał się walką o życie i dom.

Wydawało się, że po pierwszej akcji gaśniczej wszystko jest już pod kontrolą. Niestety, kilka godzin później, około godziny 14, ogień ponownie wybuchł na poddaszu. To właśnie ten drugi pożar przyniósł najwięcej zniszczeń. Strażacy walczyli z żywiołem aż do późnego wieczora.

Ten jeden dzień zmienił wszystko. Dom, w którym moi rodzice i babcia czuli się bezpiecznie, przestał być dla nich miejscem do życia. Na szczęście nikomu nic się nie stało. To powinien być czas przygotowań do Świąt Bożego Narodzenia z rodziną. Zamiast tego musimy zmierzyć się z rzeczywistością i zadbać o to, aby moi rodzice i babcia mieli dach nad głową i mogli przetrwać to, co przeszli.

W wyniku pożarów oraz akcji gaśniczych doszło do bardzo poważnych zniszczeń. Cała konstrukcja dachu wraz z poszyciem i kominem zostały nieodwracalnie zniszczone i konieczna jest ich naprawa. Wszystkie pomieszczenia na piętrze zostały zalane, a w łazience i sypialni zarwały się sufity. Podłogi, ściany, sufity na całym piętrze wymagają remontu. Zniszczona została również instalacja elektryczna na piętrze i częściowo na parterze oraz piony wodno-kanalizacyjne. Bez ich naprawy dom nie może być bezpiecznie użytkowany ani ogrzewany.

Od dnia pożaru staramy się robić wszystko, co jest możliwe własnymi siłami. Udało się znaleźć się tymczasowe mieszkanie dla babci i rodziców oraz uratować większość ich ubrań. Zabezpieczyliśmy dach plandekami, żeby nie przeciekał przy deszczu i śniegu, uprzątnęliśmy poddasze, zabezpieczyliśmy meble na parterze. Ciągle sprzątamy odpady po pożarze i demontujemy uszkodzone elementy wyposażenia.

Całe pierwsze piętro wymaga specjalistycznego odkażenia ścian, sufitów i podłóg po pożarze, a zarówno piętro, jak i parter muszą zostać poddane ozonowaniu. Dopiero po tych pracach możliwa będzie dalsza odbudowa domu.

Środki z tej zbiórki zostaną przeznaczone na najpilniejsze prace:

• odtworzenie dachu, w tym konstrukcji, belek stropowych, blachodachówki i izolacji - 65 210 zł,
• odtworzenie komina - 10 850 zł,
• specjalistyczne czyszczenie ścian, podłóg i okien po pożarze oraz ozonowanie pomieszczeń - 13 110 zł,
• odtworzenie instalacji wodociągowo-kanalizacyjnej - 13 850 zł,
• odtworzenie uszkodzonej instalacji elektrycznej - 5 150 zł.

Suma: 108 170 zł

Nawet jeśli nie uda się zebrać pełnej kwoty, każda wpłata i każde udostępnienie naprawdę mają znaczenie. Bez tych prac dom nie przetrwa w obecnym stanie, a odbudowa tego, co zostało zniszczone jednego dnia, nie będzie możliwa.

Wszystkie zebrane środki zostaną przeznaczone w pierwszej kolejności na zabezpieczenie budynku i przywrócenie podstawowych instalacji, bez których dalsza odbudowa nie będzie możliwa. Ewentualna nadwyżka środków zostanie przeznaczona na odbudowę sufitów, gładzie, malowanie i panele podłogowe, tak aby dom mógł wrócić do stanu użytkowania.

On December 6th, in the early hours of the morning, our family home caught fire. At around 8 a.m., neighbors noticed the fire in the house where my parents, both retired, and my 91-year-old grandmother had been living peacefully for years. In a matter of moments, everyday life turned into a crisis.

Police arrived and helped my mother get out of the house. Officers then ran back inside to bring my grandmother to safety. Within minutes, firefighters, and an ambulance were there. What should have been an ordinary winter morning suddenly became a fight for life and for our home.

After the first firefighting operation, it seemed that the situation was under control. Unfortunately, a few hours later, around 2 p.m., a second fire broke out in the attic. The second fire caused the most of the damages. Firefighters battled the flames until late in the evening.

That single day changed everything. The house where my parents and grandmother felt safe stopped being a place they could live in. This should have been a time of preparing for Christmas with family. Instead, we are facing the reality of making sure my parents and grandmother have a roof over their heads and can survive what they’ve been through.

As a result of the fires and the firefighting efforts, the damage to the building is severe. The entire roof structure, including the framework, roofing, and chimney, was destroyed and must be rebuilt. All rooms on the upper floor were flooded, and the ceilings in the bathroom and one of the bedrooms collapsed. Floors, walls, and ceilings throughout the upper level require renovation. The electrical installation on the upper floor and partly on the ground floor was damaged, as were the water and sewage systems. Without restoring these installations, the house cannot be safely used or heated.

Since the day of the fire, we have been doing everything we can on our own. We managed to find temporary accommodation for my parents and grandmother and to save most of their clothes. The roof has been temporarily secured with tarps to protect it from rain and snow. We cleared the attic, secured furniture on the ground floor, and continue to remove debris and dismantle damaged parts of the house.

The entire upper floor now requires specialist cleaning and disinfection after the fire. Both the upper floor and the ground floor must also undergo ozone treatment. Only after these steps will it be possible to continue rebuilding the house.

Funds from this fundraiser will be used for the most urgent needs:

• rebuilding the roof, including the structure, beams, roofing, and insulation - PLN 65,210
• rebuilding the chimney - PLN 10,850
• specialist cleaning of walls, floors, and windows after the fire, as well as ozone treatment - PLN 13,110
• restoring the water and sewage systems - PLN 13,850
• restoring the damaged electrical installation - PLN 5,150

Total: PLN 108,170

Even if we are not able to raise the full amount, every contribution and every share truly matters. Without this support, it will not be possible to protect the house or begin rebuilding what was lost in a single day.

All collected funds will first be used to secure the building and restore the essential installations needed for any further rebuilding. Any remaining funds will be used to rebuild ceilings, finish walls, repaint, and install flooring, so that the house can return to a livable state.
