Dear All,
I believe we are all very happy about the successful counter-offensive of Ukrainian forces regaining their land. I also believe that the last six months have been really hard for all of us, but especially for All Ukrainians.
There has been a lot of chaos in the first months of the russian invasion. I believe all of us were not sure on how to help in the most effective way. As you might recall, especially with our fundraiser, we have first focused on providing support to civilians, however over time and with the input of our Ukrainian friends we have decided to focus on providing support to the military and the territorial defence in order to protect lives and help Ukraine to defend itself.
This turned out to be a significant challenge, as we needed to get specific information from combat units on items that were most needed at the time. Then another one was to identify reliable and cost-effective sources to procure those items.
This was only possible thanks to your fundraising efforts which resulted in the amount of approx. 115k euro that were later used to purchase necessary equipment through Ukraine Foundation in Wroclaw.
The successful procurement process wouldn’t happen without an immense help from Halyna, Katya, Marta, Olha (not part of this group) Taras and Krzysztof. A big thank you to those who have provided direct contacts to suppliers that offered us better prices for some items.
As we have finally concluded all of the reporting from the Ukrainian units who received our help and got all the paperwork in order we close this account in terms of accounting. I would like to share with you a document with more specific information on our purchases that concludes our fundraiser at this stage.
Should there be a need for more specific information or should you have any questions, please let me know so that we can share all the information needed as transparency is key here.
As you will see in the report, some of our purchases went to support the easter front and units (like the one from Lviv) who have been sent there as well.
I hope that we have done our small bit in helping Ukrainians and I hope that we will continue providing our support until Ukraine regains all of its territory.

Who are we?
Our friends Halyna, Svyat, Taras and many others are amongst 100 000 Ukrainian men and women who have either joined Territorial Defence Forces or are helping them and the Ukrainian Army to protect their country and families.
Since February 24th, instead of dropping their kids at schools and going to work, they have been fighting to survive another day.
What they urgently need is personal protective equipment, such as bullet-proof vests, helmets, medicines and food.
A group of graduates of universities in Wrocław (Poland) and Lviv (Ukraine), who first met in 2000 during students` exchange, and have remained in contact ever since.
These days we work and live in many countries all across Europe.
When Russia started the invasion, we immediately decided to help in a coordinated manner, in direct contact with our friends from Ukraine.
Why support this particular fundraising campaign?
100% of the funds collected via Ukraine Foundation will be used towards purchasing most needed equipment which will be sent to Ukraine as soon as possible.
A selected procurement committee with members from Poland and Ukraine will decide on the final list of purchased items.
This fundraising is supervised by Foundation Ukraine, supported by Polish local authorities, and strongly recommended by Ukraine General Consul in Wroclaw.
Why do we need you?
We are people who have personal connections with our friends in Ukraine. They are fighting not only for the freedom of their country, but also for our freedom and the values that we share.
We know there are lots of people who want to help, but not all of them know exactly how, as well as where and what is needed.
We do, and therefore ask you to show your support and donate.
