Projekt "Szlaku Kultury Żydowskiej i Holokaustu w Trzebini" został zainicjowany i opracowany w 2013 r. przez śp. Andrzeja Kostkę (regionalistę, społecznika) i dr Jolantę Piskorz (pracownik MBP w Trzebini) we współpracy z Urzędem Miasta w Trzebini.

Powstała mapka z oznaczonymi miejscami szczególnie związanymi z Holokaustem i obecnością społeczności żydowskiej w Trzebini. Jednak zabrakło w przestrzeni miasta materialnych oznaczeń kilku ważnych punktów wskazanych na mapie, w tym dawnego niemieckiego obozu pracy przymusowej, zwanego „obozem za torami”, przy ul. Staszica, oraz w miejscu zbiorowej egzekucji na Żydach i Polakach we wrześniu 1939 r., koło wiaduktu.

Jako Stowarzyszenie Kehila Trzebinia, w odpowiedzi na zgłaszane przez mieszkańców miasta i regionu oraz przyjezdnych gości, uwagi dotyczące potrzeby oznaczenia tych miejsc, w zeszłym roku postaraliśmy się o środki finansowe na postawienie tablic informacyjno-upamiętniających na terenie dawnego „obozu za torami”. Inicjatywa ta została przyjęta z wielkim uznaniem zarówno ze strony mieszkańców, jak i osób spoza regionu.

Obecnie to wspaniałe miejsce edukacji, szczególnie dla młodych ludzi, tak jak zresztą cały Szlak Kultury Żydowskiej i Holokaustu.

Również dlatego chcielibyśmy kontynuować ten projekt i pozyskać środki na postawienie kamienia z tabliczką upamiętniającą ofiary zbiorowej egzekucji przy wiadukcie. 27 stycznia br. zorganizowaliśmy tam symboliczne upamiętnienie (fot., video-nagranie)

Ponadto chcielibyśmy oznaczyć inne ważne miejsca związane z martyrologią Żydów, jak miejsce deportacji mieszkańców getta w Trzebini z dworca kolejowego 7 czerwca 1942 r., czy budynek dawnej parowozowni postawiony przez więźniów niemieckiego "obozu za torami" w l. 1942-1943.

Ale równie ważne jest dla nas wyeksponowanie miejsc, gdzie przed wojną kwitło żydowskie życie, jak Wielka Synagoga "Szul", czy jesziwa prowadzona przez znanego w świecie Rabina Dowa-Berisza Weidenfelda.

Przy ubieganiu się o grant na ten cel jest potrzebny wkład własny finansowy. Dlatego zwracamy się z prośbą o wsparcie naszej zbiórki.

W przypadku niepozyskania grantu, wszystkie środki i tak przekażemy na realizację tego projektu.

Pamięć o dawnych żydowskich mieszkańcach Trzebini, którzy przyczynili się do rozwoju miasta i regionu, a w wyniku Holokaustu zostali zmuszeni do jego opuszczenia i zamordowani przez Niemców, jest naszym moralnym obowiązkiem.

The “Jewish Culture and Holocaust Trail in Trzebinia” project was initiated and developed in 2013 by the late Andrzej Kostka (regionalist, social activist) and Dr. Jolanta Piskorz (employee of the Municipal Public Library in Trzebinia) in collaboration with the Town Hall in Trzebinia.

A map has been created marking places particularly associated with the Holocaust and the presence of the Jewish community in Trzebinia. However, several important points indicated on the map have not been marked in the town’s space, including the former German forced labor camp known as the “camp behind the tracks” on Staszica Street, and the site of the mass execution of Jews and Poles in September 1939, near the viaduct.

As the Kehila Trzebinia Association, in response to the comments from the residents of the town and region as well as visiting guests regarding the need to mark these places, last year we sought financial resources to erect informational and commemorative plaques on the site of the former “camp behind the tracks.” This initiative was received with great appreciation both by the residents and by people from outside the region.

Currently, it is a wonderful place for education, especially for young people, just like the entire Jewish Culture and Holocaust Trail.

Also, that is why we would like to continue this project and raise funds to place a stone with a plaque commemorating the victims of the mass execution at the viaduct. On January 27th of this year, we organized a symbolic commemoration there (photo, video recording).

Additionally, we would like to mark other important places related to the martyrdom of Jews, such as the site from which the inhabitants of the Trzebinia ghetto were deported from the train station on June 7, 1942, and the place where prisoners from the “camp behind the tracks” expanded the locomotive depot (the building still stands today and is in use, photo).

But it is equally important for us to highlight places where Jewish life flourished before the war, such as the Great Synagogue “Szul” or the yeshiva run by the world-renowned Rabbi Dowa-Berisz Weidenfeld.

When applying for a grant for this purpose, a seed contribution is required. Therefore, we are reaching out to request your support for our fundraising campaign.

In the event that we do not obtain the grant, we will still allocate all funds to the implementation of this project.

The memory of the former Jewish residents of Trzebinia, who contributed to the development of the city and the region, and as a result of the Holocaust were forced to leave and murdered by the Germans, is our moral obligation.

Das Projekt „Jüdische Kultur und Holocaust-Pfad in Trzebinia“ wurde 2013 von dem verstorbenen Andrzej Kostka (Regionalist, Sozialaktivist) und Dr. Jolanta Piskorz (Mitarbeiterin der öffentlichen Stadtbibliothek in Trzebinia) in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Rathaus von Trzebinia initiiert und entwickelt.

Es wurde eine Karte erstellt, die Orte markiert, die in besonderem Zusammenhang mit dem Holocaust und der jüdischen Gemeinde in Trzebinia stehen. Allerdings fehlten in der Stadt materielle Markierungen für mehrere wichtige Punkte, die auf der Karte verzeichnet waren, darunter das ehemalige deutsche Zwangsarbeitslager, bekannt als das „Lager hinter den Gleisen“, in der Staszica-Straße, und der Ort der Massenexekution von Juden und Polen im September 1939, in der Nähe des Viadukts.

Als Verein Kehila Trzebinia reagierten wir im vergangenen Jahr auf Bedenken von Einwohnern und Besuchern der Stadt und der Region hinsichtlich der Notwendigkeit, diese Orte zu kennzeichnen, und sicherten uns die Mittel für die Aufstellung von Informations- und Gedenktafeln am ehemaligen „Lager hinter den Gleisen“. Diese Initiative stieß sowohl bei Einwohnern als auch bei Besuchern von außerhalb der Region auf große Zustimmung.

Heute ist es ein wunderbarer Ort der Bildung, insbesondere für junge Menschen, ebenso wie der gesamte Pfad der jüdischen Kultur und des Holocaust.

Deshalb möchten wir dieses Projekt fortsetzen und Spenden sammeln, um einen Gedenkstein mit einer Gedenktafel für die Opfer der Massenexekution am Viadukt zu errichten . Am 27. Januar dieses Jahres organisierten wir dort eine symbolische Gedenkveranstaltung (Foto, Videoaufnahme).

Wir möchten auch auf weitere wichtige Orte im Zusammenhang mit dem jüdischen Martyrium hinweisen.

Genauso ist es wichtig für uns , Orte hervorzuheben, an denen das jüdische Leben vor dem Krieg blühte, wie die Große Synagoge „Shul“ oder die Jeschiwa unter der Leitung des weltberühmten Rabbiners Dowa-Berish Weidenfeld.

Die Beantragung eines Zuschusses für diesen Zweck erfordert einen eigenen finanziellen Beitrag. Daher bitten wir Sie, unsere Spendenkampagne zu unterstützen.

Sollten wir keinen Zuschuss erhalten, werden wir dennoch alle Mittel für die Durchführung dieses Projekts verwenden.

Es ist unsere moralische Pflicht, der ehemaligen jüdischen Einwohner von Trzebinia zu gedenken, die zur Entwicklung der Stadt und der Region beigetragen haben und die infolge des Holocaust von den Deutschen gezwungen wurden, die Stadt zu verlassen und ermordet wurden.
