My name is Beatrice Jerono, and I am a mother of two daughters, ages 3 and 1. I am married to a Polish man and have been a victim of domestic violence since I was pregnant with my youngest daughter. My husband has subjected me to severe physical abuse, often beating me until I was bleeding or even unconscious. Tragically, my oldest daughter has also been a victim of this violence. At one point, my husband twisted her arm, causing ongoing pain, and he has refused to allow her to attend kindergarten.

Additionally, my husband has taken control of the government assistance meant for our family by directing the funds into his account, leaving me without access to any financial resources. This situation has made it extremely difficult for me to care for my children on my own.

Currently, my husband is in remand in a Polish prison, and I am in desperate need of help to provide for my children, enroll my eldest daughter in kindergarten, and seek therapy for the trauma we have endured. I am asking for this support to cater to our urgent needs now as I actively search for a job to sustain us in the future. I want everyone to know that I am putting in the effort to ensure a better life for my family and have long-term plans for our stability.
