W nocy z 8/9 stycznia, na Dominikanie, naszą siostrę i przyjaciółkę, Martę Janecką, potrącił pędzący autobus. Ma połamane wszystkie kończyny. Złamaną nogę w kolanie, kość udową w 3 miejscach, połamaną miednice, liczne złamania, w tym otwarte. Straciła bardzo dużo krwi. W tym momencie jest zaintubowana i jest w śpiączce. 

Jej stan jest bardzo ciężki. Czekamy na ustabilizowanie, które umożliwi przeniesienie do odpowiedniego szpitala i przeprowadzenie niezbędnych operacji. Przed nami liczne operacje i transport Marty do Polski, a następnie długa rehabilitacja.

Żeby zadbać o Martę potrzebujemy Waszej pomocy finansowej!  Obecnie zbieramy na operację, wydatki dodatkowe – pomoc prawną, noclegi dla rodziny, tłumaczenia oraz transport medyczny.

Marta jest nie tylko wspaniałą przyjaciółką, ale też zaangażowaną twórczo i profesjonalną współpracowniczką. Od samego początku współtworzyła barStudio, współpracuje ze społecznością JCC Warszawa, jest edukatorką na żydowskich koloniach letnich. Od kilku lat rozwija prężnie karierę scenografki na planach filmów fabularnych i seriali.

Pełna życia i miłości robi wokół piękne rzeczy. Świat dzięki niej jest codziennie odrobinę lepszy. Chcemy, żeby wróciła do pełni sił, do akcji i do nas, jej najbliższych.

On the night of January 8th/9th, our sister and friend, Marta Janecka, was hit by a speeding bus in the Dominican Republic. In consequence she has suffered from open and closed fractures of all the limbs, including a knee fracture, a triple femur fracture and a pelvis fracture. She has lost a lot of blood. Right now she is intubated and kept under a medically induced coma.

Her condition is very serious. Once she becomes stable, it will be possible to transfer her to a more suitable medical facility (right now she is admitted to a small medical centre), where she will undergo all necessary surgeries. On top of a number of surgical procedures, Marta will need to be medically transported to Poland and once she is here and she recovers from surgeries - begin a long process of physical therapy.

In order to take care of Marta we need your financial support! Our crowdfunding objectives are covering the surgical costs and additional expenses i.e. legal assistance, accommodation for the family members and the translator and the international medical transport.

She has been involved in the creation of barStudio from its very beginning, she cooperates with JCC Warsaw in various capacities.
