To raise money to organise events to raise awareness about the situation of refugees
In less than a year, we managed to organise 7 different events; counting this would be the 8th one. The events focussed on raising awareness about refugees, cooking with refugees, organising a charity concert for refugees in the Greek camp Moria, raising awareness about Rohingya refugees and most recently raising awareness about Islam and the challenges of Islamophobia. However, this is the first time when the event will solely focus on refugees comprising a panel with only refugees; something Krakow has never experienced before. Lucas Hiegelsberger, a student from Austria, who is the mastermind of the idea, had written to Rethinking Refugees to do an internship with us, and this is where we are now!
