Jeśli czytasz ten tekst, istnieje duża szansa, że znasz Julię. A jeśli jej nie znasz osobiście, być może słyszałeś/aś o niej od kogoś, kto miał szczęście spotkać ją na swojej drodze.

Jula jest wyjątkową osobą. Jedną z tych, które zarażają energią, pasją i odwagą do podążania własną ścieżką. W zeszłym roku spełniła swoje wielkie marzenie – dostała się na prestiżową uczelnię teatralną DAMU w Pradze, na kierunek Authorial Acting. To ogromne osiągnięcie było możliwe dzięki jej talentowi, ciężkiej pracy, determinacji oraz stypendium, które otrzymała na pierwszy rok studiów.

Niestety, mimo bardzo dobrych wyników i pozytywnych opinii wykładowców, Julia nie otrzymała stypendium na drugi rok.

Jako jej partnerka mam ogromne szczęście obserwować jej drogę z bliska. Widzę, ile wysiłku wkłada każdego dnia w rozwój, jak konsekwentnie dąży do celu i jak wiele radości daje jej studiowanie. Widzę też, jak bardzo rozkwita w tym środowisku i jak jest doceniana przez swoich wykładowców. Dlatego nie przyjmuję do wiadomości, że przeszkodą w realizacji jej marzenia mogą okazać się pieniądze.

Wierzę jednak, że pieniądze nie są jedyną walutą, jaką dysponujemy. Dlatego oprócz zbierania środków na czesne i koszty studiów, chcemy stworzyć wokół tej zbiórki coś więcej – przestrzeń do spotkań, wymiany i wspólnego działania.

W ramach podziękowania za wsparcie chcemy dzielić się tym, co potrafimy najlepiej. Planujemy organizować między innymi:

• warsztaty ruchowe,
• konsultacje i indywidualne spotkania,
• zajęcia relaksacyjne,
• warsztaty improwizacji aktorskiej,
• domowe przetwory,
• animacje czasu wolnego,
• a także mini festiwale i benefisy w Warszawie.

Do współpracy zaprosimy również naszych utalentowanych przyjaciół, którzy podzielą się swoimi pasjami, umiejętnościami i twórczością.

Zapraszamy Was do wspólnego tworzenia tej historii. Chcemy nie tylko zebrać potrzebną kwotę, ale też wykorzystać tę okazję do spotkań, odnowienia starych relacji i nawiązania nowych. Marzy mi się, żeby z tej sytuacji wyniknęło coś pięknego i wartościowego dla wielu osób.

Oprócz teatralnego Jula ma również inny wielki talent - do gromadzenia i łączenia ludzi - być może to jest moment kiedy z naszą wspólną pomocą ta energia ma okazję wrócić. Byłoby ekstra sprawić, żeby brak pieniędzy nie zatrzymał osoby, która z taką pasją i oddaniem realizuje swoje marzenie.

KIM JEST JULA?

Julia Łasak - aktorka, performerka i twórczyni teatralna. Absolwentka Kolegium Artes Liberales Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego, gdzie współprowadzi teatr studencki jako pedagożka i współreżyserka. Obecnie studiuje na kierunku Authorial Acting w Academy of Performing Arts (DAMU) w Pradze.

Tworzy autorskie projekty w nurcie devising theatre, łącząc aktorstwo, ruch i własne teksty. W swojej praktyce artystycznej czerpie z metody Dialogical Acting Ivana Vyskočila opartej na ucieleśnionym dialogu z wieloma głosami i postaciami obecnymi w performansie.

Interesuje ją teatr feministyczny oraz badanie poprzez ciało tematów seksualności, cielesności, fantazji, popędów, relacji i bliskości. Jej twórczość koncentruje się na poszukiwaniu autentycznej obecności scenicznej oraz rozwijaniu autorskiego języka performatywnego.

Stypendystka KPO dla Kultury oraz Międzynarodowego Funduszu Wyszehradzkiego. Inicjatorka spektaklu Pierwsze Bandziorki (reż. Natalia Sołtysik, tekst Aleksandra Kuśnierkiewicz), w którym pełniła funkcję performerki i producentki. Autorka solowego projektu Moje bagno, odpowiadając za tekst, reżyserię i performans. Wokalistka w projekcie kompozytorskim Noli Flere autorstwa Bena Kotika, realizowanym we współpracy z Prague Philharmonic Orchestra. Występowała również w krótkometrażowych produkcjach filmowych tworzonych we współpracy z FAMU International oraz Prague Film School.

HELP JULIA CONTINUE HER STUDIES AT DAMU!

If you're reading this, there's a good chance you know Julia. And if you don't know her personally, you may have heard about her from someone who has had the privilege of crossing paths with her.

Julia is a truly remarkable person - one of those people who inspire others with their energy, passion, and courage to follow their own path. Last year, she fulfilled a lifelong dream by being accepted into the prestigious Academy of Performing Arts (DAMU) in Prague, where she began studying in the Authorial Acting programme. This incredible achievement was made possible not only by her talent, hard work, and determination, but also thanks to a scholarship that supported her during her first year of studies.

Unfortunately, despite achieving excellent academic results and receiving very positive feedback from her professors, Julia was not awarded a scholarship for her second year.

As her partner, I have the great privilege of witnessing her journey up close. I see how much effort she puts into her growth every single day, how consistently she works towards her goals, and how much joy and fulfilment her studies bring her. I also see how much she has flourished in this environment and how highly she is valued by her teachers and mentors. That is why I cannot accept the idea that financial circumstances could stand in the way of her dream.

At the same time, I believe that money is not the only currency we have to offer. Alongside raising funds for tuition and living expenses, we want this fundraiser to become something more - a space for connection, exchange, and community.

As a way of thanking everyone who supports Julia, we would like to share the skills, knowledge, and experiences we have to offer. We are planning to organize:

• movement workshops,
• consultations and one-on-one sessions,
• relaxation classes,
• acting improvisation workshops,
• homemade preserves and treats,
• community and leisure activities,
• as well as small festivals and benefit events in Warsaw.

We will also invite our talented friends to join us and share their own passions, skills, and creative work.

Our goal is not only to raise the necessary funds, but also to create opportunities for meaningful encounters, to reconnect with old friends, and to build new relationships. My hope is that something beautiful and valuable can grow from this situation - something that reaches far beyond financial support alone.

ABOUT JULIA

Julia Łasak is an actress, performer, and theatre creator. She graduated from the Liberal Arts Education at the University of Warsaw, where she co-runs a student theatre as an educator and co-director. She is currently studying Authorial Acting at the Academy of Performing Arts (DAMU) in Prague.

She creates original devised theatre projects that combine acting, movement, and her own writing. Her artistic practice draws on Ivan Vyskočil's Dialogical Acting method, which is based on embodied dialogue with the multiple voices and characters present within performance.

Her interests include feminist theatre and exploring themes of sexuality, corporeality, fantasy, desire, relationships, and intimacy through the body. Her work focuses on the search for authentic stage presence and the development of an original performative language.

She is a recipient of scholarships from the Polish National Recovery Plan for Culture (KPO for Culture) and the International Visegrad Fund. She initiated the theatre production The First Bad Women (directed by Natalia Sołtysik, written by Aleksandra Kuśnierkiewicz), in which she worked as both performer and producer. She is also the creator of the solo performance project My Swamp, for which she was responsible for the text, direction, and performance.

As a vocalist, she participated in Noli Flere, a compositional project by Ben Kotik created in collaboration with the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra. She has also appeared in several short films produced in cooperation with FAMU International and Prague Film School.

WHO CREATED THIS FUNDRAISER?

Monika Jarosińska is an interdisciplinary artist working at the intersection of physical theatre, performance art, and dramatic theatre. She is a researcher of embodied directing practices and a theatre and movement educator. Most importantly, she is Julia's life partner. ❤️
