Monika jest moją przyjaciółką pomimo trudności, które zgotował jej los jest uśmiechniętą, cieszącą się najdrobniejszymi rzeczami osobą. Zaraża swoją dobrocią innych i sprawa, że potrafimy docenić to co jest w życiu ważne. Ma świetny, głos pięknie śpiewa. Monika zachorowała na nowotwór złośliwy żołądka, który przez zbagatelizowanie problemu ze strony lekarza został wykryty w późnym stadium. Dostała 20% szans na wyzdrowienie, podjęła walkę - najpierw chemia później operacja, gdzie usunięto jej całkowicie żołądek, ponownie dostała chemię ta runda zakończyła się wygraną Moniki. Nie spełna rok później kolejny przeżut, guz w miednicy tym razem pod stałą opieką specjalistów, którzy go przeoczyli, chodź miał wielkość 24cm. gdy Monika miała problemy z oddawaniem moczu trafiła do ginekologa, który od razu dał skierowanie do szpitala. Tam zapadła szybka decyzja, najpierw dwie jednostki krwi by wzmocnić organizm, a poniżej operacja. Wirtuoz skalpela spisła się, trudna operacja zakończyła się sukcesem, guz wycięto wraz z macicą i jedynym jajnikiem, później 6 miesięcy chemi by dowiedzieć się, że na jajniku, który nie został wycięty na nowo urósł guz. Teraz czeka ją koleja operacja, która miała odbyć się 13 stycznia jednak Monika zachorowała na covid19 i operacja została przesunięta o miesiąc, na szczęście wirus obszedł się z nią łagodnie przeszła go jak zwykłą grypę. Miała tak mało szans na przeżycie jednak nie podała się i walczy o każdy dzień, cieszy się jego każdą minutą jej lekarstwem jest wiara w Boga, a przyjacielem jest Jezus, który pomaga jej znosić ból, nie traci nadzieji. Marzy by zamieszkać w odjazdowy mini domu na kółkach, teraz mieszka z rodzicami i jest na ich utrzymaniu, oni sami mają skromną emeryturę. Monika mieszkała i pracowała w Warszawie gdy zachorowała nie przedłużono jej umowy o pracę, a ZUS odmówił prawa do renty, gdyż nie miała wypracowanych lat składkowych brakło jej 4 miesięcy. Pozostała więc bez środków do życia, była zmuszona wrócić do rodzinnego domu, to było dla niej bardzo trudne, ponieważ całe życie była niezależna. Udało jej się wywalczyć zapomogę z gminy w wysokości ok 600zl lecz ciężko jest za te pieniądze się utrzymać, gdzie same leki to duży koszt. Chciałabym bardzo jej pomoc i spełnić jej marzenie o własnym małym domku na kółkach, gdzie będzie mogła poczuć się jak u siebie. Dziękuję wszystkim chętnym, którzy chcą pomóc.

Monika is my dearest friend that deserves her dreams to become true. Despite the hard times that her destiny prepared for her, she is still a very cheerful, positive person that enjoys the smallest things in life. She spreads her warmth and kindness to the others, and makes them realize what really matters in our lives. She is very talented with amazing signing voice. Monika was diagnosed with gastric cancer. The doctors downplayed her health concerns and dismissed her symptoms. That’s why the cancer what diagnosed at the very late stage leaving Monika with 20 % chances of survival. She didn’t give up and she started the fight against it. She started with chemo, then stomach removal operation followed by another chemo. She won this war. However, less than a year later the cancer came back. She developed a 24 cm tumor in her pelvis. Despite these huge tumor sizes, it was overlooked by the doctors during frequent checkups. Having difficulties with urination, she visited a gynecologist that spot the problem and sent her to the hospital. She was admitted right away with prompt actions taken. For a start she got 2 units of the blood transfusion to strengthen her body first then she went through another exhausting operation. The surgent did an amazing job during this difficult operation and end it up with a success. The tumor was removed with a uterus and one ovary followed by another chemo. It took her 6 moths of chemo to find out that she got another metastasis that grew on the ovary that wasn’t removed. She was scheduled for another operation that shall take place on the 13th of January 2021. As if it wasn’t hard enough, just before the operation Monika got Covid19 which meant everything had to be rescheduled at least for 1 month. Luckily, the virous treat her gently, without any complication. Monika had such a little chance to survive but she never gave up, keeps fighting for each day and enjoys every single minute of her life. Her cure is faith in God and her closest friend is Jesus. They help her to go through the pain and don’t give up hope. She dreams of leaving in mobile tiny house on wheels. Right now, she lives with her parents and its financially depended on them while they have a very little pension. Monika lived and worked in Warsaw. When she got sick, her employer did not renew her contract and the Social Insurance Institution( ZUS) rejected her application of ill-health pension – she was missing 4 moths pension contribution to be entitled to the ill- health pension. As she was left without any source of income, she had no choice as to return to her parents' home. It was incredibly hard for her as most of the time she was independent . Finally, she managed to get a financial aid from the municipal city of 600 zl – this amount nothing compering to the amount she has to spend on all the medicines. Thus, I would like to help her as much as I can and make her dream about mobile tiny house on wheels to come true.
