Hi all, you probably know me if you read this, but still 😊  - I`m Alena, originally from Belarus, currently living in Poland. Together with my best friend Katy Dubrovskaya that lives in China we are planning a big trip this summer to see a different parts of the world, and most important to make some useful and positive impact in the lives of other people.

We both believe that we all deserve a better future and of course it starts with education. Education, information, knowledge – are the most powerful sources nowadays and that’s what we are ready to provide as much as we can (and also ready to receive and learn!). During our lives we got help from different people and organizations and it feels like now it’s our time to help others.

So decision for reunion was made! We are going to 14 days voluntary trip! The dates are 22nd July to 5th August.

For our first time of being a volunteers we’ve decided to choose Kenya, because visiting Africa was our dream for many years, and as we heard Kenya is the most colourful country there.

There were many organizations and options, took time to choose and apply, but we got it. The organisation that will host us is Blessed Children's Hope Foundation. (link https://www.facebook.com/BlessedChildrensHopeFoundation) It’s a non-profit organization based in Kenya that aims to alleviate suffering amongst their communities, that have been hit by poverty, hunger and disease. They do educate young children, teach them languages, general science, build classrooms together.

We are going to participate in all these activities, and I promise the Morning run will also be there :D

As we have pretty big baggage allowance, we want to bring some school supplies, pencils, books, exercise books and so on from both EU and China to Kenya, so we can teach children and leave them some gifts.

That’s why we decided to do a fundraising, so everyone that wants to support our trip, our idea (even with 1$) can do it. We are going to be beyond happy and grateful if you will.
