Mój przyjaciel mieszkający w okolicach Kijowa jest członkiem grupy obrony terytorialnej. Łącznie z czteroma innymi osobami uczestniczył w walkach z Rosyjskimi siłami. Największym ich problemem jest brak ubioru ochronnego. Razem ze swoim bratem zakupiliśmy dla nich 5 kamizelek kuloodpornych o łącznym koszcie 10 tysięcy złotych, ale brakuje im jeszcze hełmów kuloodpornych.

Hełmy w tym momencie nie są w Polsce dostępne, ale chcemy być gotowi na moment, w którym będzie można je kupić i zebrać odpowiednią ilość pieniędzy. Jeżeli zbierzemy więcej niż koszt zakupu hełmów, to pieniądze zostaną wydane na inne rzeczy niezbędne w tym momencie: apteczki, materiały opatrunkowe, odpowiednie buty itp.

Hi,

I'm Piotr Sarnacki, a software developer from Poland. My dear friend from Ukraine is currently fighting in an uneven war with Russia that is invading his country. He lives close to Kyiv and he is a part of a small group of five people fighting in his area. I am intentionally not giving any details about him to not risk any of the info leaking to Russian forces.

The group has weapons, but they don't have almost any protective gear. So together with my brother Łukasz Sarnacki we bought 5 bulletproof vests with a total cost of nearly 2500EUR to supply them. We also want to send them helmets and any other necessary gear. Military-grade equipment is expensive, and we need one of the highest classes of protective gear - one that protects against 7.62mm ammunition.

That's why I would like to ask for your help to get funds for the helmets. Currently, it's tough to get any military helmets as they are all sold out, but deliveries are expected soon. Thus I would like to be prepared and have the funds ready. In an unlikely case of the helmets being cheaper than what we gather here, we will use the remaining money to buy other needed equipment: emergency kits, proper military shoes, military equipment etc.
