Therapeutic Summer Camp - Workshop for Children

Sociotherapeutic Workshops organized by the Association for Counteracting Social Pathologies “MIĘDZY LUDŹMI” from July 21–31, 2025, in Porszewice near Łódź are more than just a summer trip. They are a time that can change lives.

💔 Why is this important?

The children participating in the workshop come from difficult backgrounds: foster families, orphanages, care and educational institutions, and dysfunctional families with inadequate parenting. Many have experienced violence, neglect, loss, and rejection. They lack a sense of safety, support, and self-confidence.

🧡 A healthy, supportive environment is not just temporary comfort for a child – it is the foundation of mental and emotional health.

Only in the right conditions can a child learn trust, emotional regulation, relationship-building, and discover their own strengths. During the workshop, we create such a safe, stable space – free from violence, fear, and shame.

🌱 What do we do during the workshop?

During the 10-day stay, children participate in:

• 🎨 Art and theater activities
• 🤝 Social and communication skills training
• ⚽ Sports activities
• 🧠 Health and emotional hygiene prevention workshops

It’s a time full of laughter, bonding, and small miracles that stay with the children for a long time. Every activity is led by experienced professionals who know how to support children with difficult pasts. For 20 years, our Association has been organizing specialized support for children and youth at risk of social exclusion.

Through shared activities and integration with peers from natural families, children learn how to function properly in society. The workshop supports the development of healthy attitudes – empathy, responsibility, cooperation – and helps prevent social exclusion. It’s a chance for every child to feel part of a community and believe that their place in it matters.

💸 How much do we need?

The cost for one child to attend is 2,000 PLN (470 EUR)

This year, we want to enable at least 15 children to go.

We’ve already raised part of the funds thanks to our wonderful sponsors and donors, but we still need more! If we raise more, we can take even more children!
