Opis skarbonki
Jana and Pavlo, who live in Zaporizhia, have been running a farm and a cheese factory for many years. When the Russian attack on Ukraine began on February 24th, Jana and Pavlo without hesitation decided to help those who were most affected by the aggression of Russian troops against Ukrainian civilians.
Many civilians in Mariupol are dying of starvation and dehydration, and many towns in eastern Ukraine lack food. Pavlo and Jana decided to make and deliver their cheese to refugees from Mariupol, Berdiansk and Zaporizhia region.
Since the beginning of the war, they managed to deliver hundreds of kilograms of cheese to starving civilians of Ukraine. In addition, Pavlo and Jana collected 400 kilograms of clothes that were sent to places affected by Russian aggression. They also took a family of five from Mariupol under their roof.
In Zaporizhia, electricity is being turned off more and more often, which interrupts the cheese production of and the work of machines. That's why Pavlo and Jana want to buy cheese making machines that will run on steam which will help them become independent form the electricity supply. It is also necessary to expand the boiler room and purchase a generator. The total cost is USD 12,000, or PLN 52,000.
We know that this sum is huge, but we believe that it is achievable. Over the past month, we have learned that unity, strength and faith have tremendous power. If we won’t collect the funds by the end of spring, not only Pavlo and Jana will not be able to deliver food to the refugees, but will have to close the factory.
Volodymyr Zelensky said that light will overcome darkness, it is important that each of us is a small part of this light!
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
