After Russia invaded Ukraine, already one million of Ukrainian refugees have fled to Poland alone - mostly women, children and elderly people. There are numerous Polish and international organizations helping out, but the demand is so huge that each help is appreciated. We want to focus on a small area where we can be most helpful: supporting Ukrainian families (friends of friends, their friends and others) that have come to our neighbourhood recently, with very little financial assets (or other assets at all) and no definite plans for future. We are trying to make their lives a little bit more acceptable, helping them to find decent place to live, helping them to find jobs, school for their children, support their day-to-day needs. Additionally, we are supporting the local refugee help center which provides material assistance to all the refugees in our county. This refugee center is, for now at least, totally dependent on individual donations, i.e. people bringing in food, hygienic products,

The money we raise here will go to these two purposes: direct support of Ukrainian families we are in contact with and purchase of goods for the local refugee help center. Any donations will be much appreciated.
