Since February 24th Ukraine is under a treacherous attack, the victims of which are ordinary people. In recent weeks, the Polish-Ukrainian border has been inundated with a wave of refugees. Recent official data show that 95% of them are women with children. In this tragic period, Poles try to help as much as possible, they organize transport and accommodation for the one that are most in need. NGOs work on the border 24/7 so that the first moments in another country are not even more traumatic for them. There are tons of organizations, to which you can "toss a coin", that are raising funds to keep this initiative going and to ensure that no one is left without help when fleeing the war. If you prefer to help them this way, I will gladly deliver to you a list of NGO's with their account details.

Nevertheless, I am also trying to do as much as possible in this tragic situation by myself. I will be soon going back to the border as a volunteer to help with the transport (or anything else that will be in demand).

I would like to ask you to help me to help others by donating even the smallest amount of money. With the collected funds, I will personally buy the most needed products and take them to the refugee assistance centers in Hrubieszów and Przemyśl. The list of necessary things changes from minute to minute, so I will do shopping when I am close to the border, once I know what is needed at the moment. If in the refugee center it turns out that the demand is no longer valid, the remaining products will be taken to another center.

Last week when I checked, there was a shortage of: food, socks, underwear, suitcases, backpacks, shampoos, deodorants, blankets, bedding, towels, disposable sheets, face creams, hairbrushes, children's underwear, small towels for hands, boxers for boys and men, lip balms, large disposable bags, tights and leggings for women, slippers, slippers, sudocrem for children. They were also looking for a laundry dryer, but maybe something has changed in the meantime.

Once again, I ask everyone for any payment and thank you in advance for your help.

For reasons related to the settlement of taxes, I would prefer if the single payment would not exceed PLN 4900, which is equal to about 1000 € or 1000CHF.

If, however, someone would like to transfer a higher amount, I will undertake the tax settlement.

In case anyone has problems with the technical or privacy/security aspects, do not hesitate to approach me directly.
