Miesiąc temu skończyłam 39 lat a dwa dni temu dowiedziałam się, że mam kolejną wznowę guza mózgu.

Większość z was wie, że jestem szaloną dziewczyną, jednak wiadomość o kolejnej wznowie zwaliła mnie z nóg.

W 2013 roku diagnoza - nowotwór złośliwy prawego płata skroniowego.

Przeszłam pierwszą operację usunięcia.

W 2016 roku wznowa - kolejna operacja.

Zostałam poddana radioterapii.

Miałam wielką nadzieję, że tym razem się udało.

Kontrolne badania, rezonanse co pół roku i wszystko było dobrze aż do teraz...



Dokładnie 19 czerwca dowiedziałam się, że nastąpiła ekspansywna złośliwa wznowa guza.

Po konsultacji neurochirurgicznej wiem, że jedynym ratunkiem dla mnie jest teraz tylko terapia NanoTerm.

Niestety nie jest ona refundowana u nas w Polsce.

Każda terapia wyceniana jest indywidualnie, m.in. w zależności od stanu pacjenta i lokalizacji guza.

Koszty obejmują przeprowadzenie terapii, operację wszczepienia nanocząsteczek, serie nagrzewań oraz pobyt w klinice.

Dlatego bardzo proszę o pomoc,

każda złotówka jest ważna.

My z mężem nie jesteśmy w stanie sami uzbierać takiej kwoty w niespełna dwa miesiące.

Po dzisiejszej rozmowie z profesorem dowiedziałam się, że podanie dokładnych kosztów będzie możliwe za jakiś czas.

Najpierw muszę być przyjęta na oddział do szpitala aby mogła być przeprowadzona dalsza diagnostyka.

A month ago I turned 39 and couple days ago I found out that I have another recurrence of a brain tumourMost of you know I'm a crazy girl, but the news of another relapse knocked me off my feet.

In 2013, the diagnosis was a malignant tumour of the right temporal lobe.

I underwent the first removal operation.

In 2016, a recurrence - another surgery.

I was undergoing radiation therapy.

I had great hope that it worked out this time.

Check-ups, MRIs every six months and everything was fine until now...

On 19th of June I found out that there was an expansive malignant tumour recurrence.

After the neurosurgical consultation, I know that the only salvation for me now is a NanoTerm therapy.

Unfortunately, it is not reimbursed in Poland.

Each therapy is priced individually, depending on the condition of the patient and the location of the tumour.

The costs include treatment, nanoparticle implantation, a series of heat-ups and a stay in the clinic.

Therefore, I am asking for help.

Every zloty counts.

My husband and I are not able to collect such an amount on our own in less than two months.

After talking to the professor today, I found out that it will be possible to provide the exact costs in some time.

First, I have to be admitted to the ward to the hospital so that further diagnostics can be carried out.
