           W jeden z sierpniowych wieczorów Dawid uległ poważnemu wypadkowi. Jego życie i życie jego najbliższych zmieniło się w ułamku sekundy. Dawid przeszedł wielogodzinną operację. W chwili obecnej zmaga się z porażeniem czterokończynowym. Jest przykuty do łóżka. Mimo to walczy. Po opuszczeniu intensywnej terapii będzie potrzebna natychmiastowa rehabilitacja w specjalistycznym ośrodku w Krakowie. Miesięczny pobyt w ośrodku to koszt rzędu 30 tysięcy złotych. Rehabilitacja Dawida z pewnością potrwa od kilku do kilkunastu miesięcy. Kiedy skończy rehabilitację konieczna będzie zmiana miejsca zamieszkania, gdyż obecnie mieszka na drugim piętrze, a nowy dom trzeba będzie dostosować do jego potrzeb. To również generować będzie olbrzymie wydatki...

           Najbliżsi Dawida robią co mogą by sprostać tym wyzwaniom finansowym, ale nie dysponują kwotami, które umożliwiłyby pokrycie tych kosztów w pełni.

           Na Dawida mogliśmy liczyć zawsze, w każdej chwili był gotów rzucić wszystko, by nam pomóc. Dzisiaj to On potrzebuje naszej pomocy... Pomocy, która pozwoli przywrócić uśmiech na jego twarzy i twarzach jego najbliższych. Nie możemy zostawić Dawida i jego rodziny samych… stąd ta zbiórka i nasza prośba o pomoc. Dawid Skrzypczak is the heart and soul of his family—a loving husband, devoted father to his 16-year-old daughter, cherished son, and steadfast friend. His unwavering commitment to helping others is matched only by his infectious smile and boundless positivity. Yet, today, Dawid and his family face a profound challenge that no amount of resilience or optimism can overcome alone. They need your compassion and support.

In mid-August, Dawid’s world was shattered by a devastating accident that resulted in a severe spinal cord injury. Despite the noble efforts of doctors to restore some semblance of normalcy, Dawid’s journey to recovery is far from over. The injury resulted with paralysis in most of the body and affected all limbs movements, causing loss of muscle control and loss of sensation. Every day is a struggle for Dawid as he fights to regain every inch of his body and, more importantly, his hope.

In less than a month, Dawid will have to leave the Intensive Care Unit where he is now and seek a specialized rehabilitation center help in Krakow, to continue his fight for a better future. The costs associated with this necessary care are staggering, and even with health insurance included, they exceed what a middle-class family like Dawid’s can afford monthly. Dawid is said to need such care for the first several months, where he will receive medical care to prevent any further complications and help him use his existing body functions.

Dawid Skrzypczak ist ein Mensch, der das Leben in vollen Zügen genießt. Ein Mann mit vielen Leidenschaften, sehr

aktiv und vor allem immer lächelnd und hilfsbereit. Bis jetzt hat er ein glückliches und friedliches

Leben mit seiner Frau und Tochter.

An einem Augustabend erlitt Dawid einen schweren Unfall. Sein Leben und das Leben seiner

Angehörigen änderte sich in einem Sekundenbruchteil. Dawid musste viele Stunden lang operiert werden. Im Moment

kämpft er mit einer Tetraplegie. Er ist an das Bett gefesselt. Trotzdem kämpft er weiter. Nach der Entlassung

Intensivstation wird er eine sofortige Rehabilitation in einem Zentrum in Krakau benötigen.

Ein monatlicher Aufenthalt im Zentrum kostet etwa 30 000 PLN. Dawids Rehabilitation wird sicherlich einige bis

mehrere Monate dauern. Nach seiner Rückkehr wird es notwendig sein, umfangreiche Veränderungen vorzunehmen, um das Haus an seine neuen Bedürfnisse anzupassen.

Auch dies wird enorme Kosten verursachen....

Dawids Angehörige tun, was sie können, um diese finanziellen Herausforderungen zu bewältigen, aber sie haben nicht die

Summen, um diese Kosten vollständig zu decken.

Wir konnten uns immer auf Dawid verlassen, er war jederzeit bereit alles stehen und liegen zu lassen, um uns zu helfen.
