Our family need your help. We are pleading with people who have sensitive hearts and have had tragedy in their lives. We are asking anyone, friends, family, strangers and anyone who has suffered loss in their life to help us fight for the recovery of Marian.

On March 31st Marian was taken by ambulance to hospital after visiting his family doctor with chest pain. This lead unfortunately, to a turn of unfavourable events which resulted in an unprecedented time for us as a family. At the hospital ER, Marian did not receive help on time and it resulted in him having an acute heart attack. On April 1st we received a phone call, I wish this was a dream but it wasn’t, the voice on the phone said that as a result of two invasive treatments there had been complications and unfortunately Marian’s heart had stopped… as a result of the medical procedure Marian fell into a cerebral coma and we could do nothing but watch by as this active, family man became solely reliant on other people to care for him, we saw the man we loved become a stranger. Marian then spent five months in intensive care, of which we were by his side every day, strongly believing that there would be a positive outcome to this story.

On August 31st Marian was moved to a rehabilitation centre in Krakow, we can see Marian faintly come back to us and with this specialised care, equipment and medical supplies we are confident that he will make a recovery…. We can’t do this alone, so we need your help… If you would like to help we would be eternally grateful to you all and we pray for everyone to not have to endure this awful tragedy that we have as a family.
