A grasshopper is a powerful tool for creating generative programming algorithms. It contains its own visual programming language that operates within Rhino 3D without rendering. In addition, it has numerous predefined componentsss to model a variety of architectural concepts such as flat reed structures and tree trunks. Grasshopper was developed by David Rutten at Robert McNeel & Associates. In Grasshopper, components are dragged onto the canvas, and programs are created.
