To our family, friends, and fellow home dwellers~

As many of you know, we are in the process of renovating a studio apartment in an excellent city location, which we purchased last year.  It has been a hugely fulfilling project for us, as we are putting a lot of creative thought, planning, materials, and design into the complete rebuild of this apartment. It has been a labor of love for us over the past 6 months.

We originally budgeted 36,000 zl for the full gutting/rebuild and furnishing of the apartment. 

Unfortunately, inflation has hit hard, and Poland is no exception. Though lucky to have a talented architect friend helming the project at a very reasonable fee, the rising costs of the project, unfortunately, go beyond our personal budget. In addition, we have had a number of important medical and administrative expenses that we have had to prioritize recently. Nevertheless, for a number of reasons, it is important we keep to our original timeline of late July 2023 completion. 

It is with this new “wrinkle” to our plans that we reach out to our dear friends and family, to ask if you can collectively help to contribute toward a total of 31,000zl / NZ$12,300 / US$7,635 to cover these additional costs. 

If we can come together and close this gap, we can reach our goal of transforming this gem of a space into a truly lovely living quarters, perfect for a student or single person.

GIFTS

In the spirit of giving, we have some goodies to share with you.

Firstly, we have decided to share a little bit of what makes Warsaw such a special place for us. so, I have created a free curated music playlist featuring highlights from the most famous Polish musician: Frederyk Chopin. These are specially selected recordings to give you a taste of the atmosphere of Warsaw, a city that has perhaps no equal when it comes to classical music. I've also thrown in some music from a famed contemporary Polish composer, who has won an Academy Award for his music.
