September 1972. The Parrado family lives in Montevideo, the capital city of Uruguay. The father, Seler, runs the big company "La Casa del Tornillo", which manufactures and sells the metal products, like screws and nails. The mother, Eugenia, is the good spirit of the home and business. The older daughter, Graciela is the happy wife of Juan and mother of little Alejandro. The son, Nando, is the promising rugby player. The younger daughter, Susy, is just starting studies. In the Parrado's house lives too Eugenia's mother - the grandmother Lina. The family's life is calm and happy. The Parrados love, trust and support each other in all difficulties. But one day - 13th October 1972 and one flight will change all in theirs life...
