Drodzy! 

Zwracamy się do Was z wielka prośbą o pomoc. 5 marca 2022 spotkało nas ogromne nieszczęście. Nasza ukochana Mama, Siostra, Babcia, Ciocia i Przyjaciółka wielu z Was, dostała rozległego niedokrwiennego udaru lewej półkuli mózgu. Ma całkowitą afazję oraz paraliż prawostronny. Czeka ją długa rehabilitacja i niestety, ze względu na swój ciężki stan zdrowia nie kwalifikuje się na rehabilitacje refundowaną przez NFZ (Narodowy Fundusz Zdrowia). W związku z powyższym, obecnie Mama przebywa w prywatnym ośrodku rehabilitacji pourazowej - Votum, w Krakowie. Kluczowe są pierwsze miesiące po udarze, kiedy wracają funkcje życiowe, takie, jak: przełykanie, mowa, sprawność fizyczna, chodzenie.  Najlepszym rozwiązaniem dla Mamy które może przynieść efekty, jest rehabilitacja ze środków prywatnych. Stąd nasza wielka do Was prośba o pomoc finansową - każda zebrana złotówka będzie przeznaczona na rehabilitację naszej ukochanej Mamy.

Dear all

Many of you who know Dorota, will be heartbroken to learn that she is seriously ill. On March 5th, 2022, our beloved mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and a dear friend of many of you, suffered a major ischemic stroke of the left hemisphere. As a result she has aphasia and right-sided paralysis. She needs long term rehabilitation but, unfortunately, due to her serious health condition, she does not qualify for rehabilitation reimbursed by the Polish state health service (NFZ). Due to the above, our mum is currently staying in a private post-traumatic rehabilitation center - Votum, in Krakow. As you may know the first months after a stroke are crucial for vital functions such as swallowing, speech, and walking to return. The best solution for Mum which may bring real results and hopefully a return to normality is an intensive rehabilitation programme provided by Votum in Cracow. Hence our kind request to you for your financial assistance - everything collected will be allocated to the rehabilitation of our beloved mother. We are full of hope and want the best for her. We wholeheartedly and sincerely thank you for your support for Dorota.
