13 grudnia minęła rocznica pożaru, w wyniku którego spłonęła niemal połowa mojego domu. Jeśli bym w nim spał tej nocy, to pewnie bym zginął w trakcie pożaru. Los tak chciał, że mnie akurat nie było i że dom nie spalił się doszczętnie.  Można powiedzieć, że ja i dom dostaliśmy drugą życiową szansę…

W 2008 r kupiłem ten poszkolny budynek od gminy na publicznym przetargu. Budynek wymagał wielu napraw. Moi rodzice powolutku pomagali mi odnowić pomieszczenia. Zrobiłem drewniany płot i bramy, aby podkreślić piękno tradycyjnej zabudowy, która jest już rzadkością na polskiej wsi. Po spłacie kredytu na dom, mogłem zacząć remonty w innych pomieszczeniach. W międzyczasie skupowałem lokalne stare meble oraz rękodzieło ludowe, aby ocalić je od zniszczenia i stworzyć urokliwe, oryginalne wnętrza. Po długiej chorobie i śmierci taty otworzyłem w byłej szkole Dom Gościnny – Nadbużański Dom. Głównie po to, żeby dać zajęcie mamie, żeby za dużo nie myślała po stracie ukochanej osoby. Mama (Pani Tereska) dobrze odnalazła się w nowej roli – kto był ten pamięta wspaniałe wege przysmaki, które były serwowane na nadbużańskim stole. W pandemii wyprowadziłem się z Warszawy i zacząłem na stałe mieszkać w Nadbużańskim Domu. To miejsce stało się dla turystów oazą spokoju, a dla mnie głównym źródłem utrzymania i życiowej inspiracji. Z czasem odłożyłem pieniądze i w części Domu, gdzie kiedyś mieszkała pani nauczycielka, zrobiłem następny remont – powstał węzeł sanitarny z 3 nowymi łazienkami oraz profesjonalną kuchnią gastronomiczną. Od 2019 roku zacząłem robić Festiwal Smaków Sezonowych, aby promować zdrowe sezonowe jedzenie, polską sztukę kulinarną oraz ekologiczne produkty od lokalnych rolników. W ciągu 5 lat we wsi Binduga odbyło się kilkanaście tematycznych edycji Festiwalu. 

Dobrą passę nagle przerwała tragedia, która wydarzyła się w nocy 13 grudnia 2022 roku. W wyniku zwarcia instalacji elektrycznej powstał pożar i spłonęło prawie pół domu, a reszta uległa zanieczyszczeniu toksycznymi sadzami. Spłonęło mnóstwo mojej pracy, pasji i serca, które włożyłem w każdy detal tego zabytkowego domu. W szoku musiałem wrócić do Warszawy, bez domu, bez źródła utrzymania i z ciężką depresją.

Moi przyjaciele i dobrzy ludzie nie opuścili mnie w ciężkich chwilach. Zorganizowali dwie zbiórki pieniędzy i uzbierało się aż 33.000 zł. Po długich i męczących interwencjach mojego rzeczoznawcy i prawnika, ubezpieczyciel wypłacił ok 100.000 zł. Z większości tych pieniędzy udało mi się wykonać następujące prace: oczyszczenie do bala części spalonej domu, wywóz i utylizacja materiałów popożarowych, wyczyszczenie specjalistyczną chemią całego domu, strychu i elewacji, ozonowanie całego obiektu, piaskowanie zabytkowych elementów domu i piwnicy, podłączenie prądu z nowym licznikiem zewnętrznym, zerwanie spalonych podłóg, wypranie i renowacja zabytkowych kilimów i dywanów, pogłębienie zabytkowej piwnicy pod kotłownię, zatrudnienie biegłego sądowego ds. pożarnictwa, zatrudnienie rzeczoznawcy, zatrudnienie prawnika, koszty długiej terapii psychologicznej…

Aktualnie dom jest cały wysprzątany, nie śmierdzi spalenizną (tego się bałem najbardziej)i czeka na remont. Realne koszty remontu to ok. 292.000 zł:

- nowe drewniane okna 3-szybowe (8 sztuk) – 37.000 zł

- odbudowa i ocieplenie części spalonej (85 m2) – 117.000 zł

- nowa instalacja elektryczna – 25.000 zł

- nowa instalacja hydrauliczna (kotłownia, CO, 3 łazienki) – 78.000 zł

- malowanie wszystkich pomieszczeń (256 m2) – 29.000 zł

- nowe drewniane drzwi (3 sztuki) – 6000 zł

Niestety teraz stoję przed ogromnym wyzwaniem. Koszty odbudowy są ekstremalnie wysokie, a moja sytuacja życiowa jest bardzo trudna. Opłacenie remontu stało się dla mnie niemożliwe w obliczu wszystkich wydatków. 

Czy możesz mi pomóc odbudować marzenia, które budowałem od lat? Proszę Cię o pomoc i wsparcie mojej zbiórki jakąkolwiek sumą pieniędzy.   

100 lat temu, w 1924 roku zbudowano ten dom jako ludową szkołę. Wierzę, że uda mi się zebrać pieniądze i odbudować budynek na ten wspaniały jubileusz.  Twoje wsparcie pomoże nie tylko odbudować wnętrze, ale również przywrócić domowi duszę i nadzieję na kolejne 100 lat. December 13th marked the anniversary of the fire that nearly consumed half of my home. If I had slept there that night, I would probably have perished in the blaze. Fate had it that I was not present, and the house did not burn down completely. One could say that both the house and I were given a second chance in life. 

In 2008, I bought this post-school building from the municipality in a public auction. The structure required numerous repairs, and my parents slowly assisted me in renovating the rooms. I constructed a wooden fence and gates to emphasize the beauty of traditional architecture, which is becoming rare in Polish villages. After paying off the house loan, I could begin renovations in other areas. Meanwhile, I acquired local antique furniture and folk art to save them from destruction and create charming, original interiors. 

After a prolonged illness and the death of my father, I opened the Guest House – Nadbużański Dom, in the former school. Primarily, it was to provide my mother with an occupation, so she wouldn't dwell too much on the loss of a loved one. My mother (Mrs. Tereska) adapted well to her new role, and those who visited remember the wonderful vegetarian delicacies served at the Nadbużański table. During the pandemic, I moved out of Warsaw and permanently settled in Nadbużański Dom. The place became an oasis of tranquility for tourists and, for me, the main source of livelihood and life inspiration. Over time, I saved money, and in the part of the house where the teacher used to live, I underwent another renovation – a sanitary node with three new bathrooms and a professional kitchen emerged. Since 2019, I have been organizing the Seasonal Flavors Festival to promote healthy seasonal eating, Polish culinary art, and ecological products from local farmers. Within five years, several thematic editions of the festival took place in the village of Binduga. 

A sudden tragedy interrupted this positive streak on the night of December 13, 2022. Due to an electrical installation fault, a fire broke out, consuming almost half of the house, while the rest was contaminated with toxic soot. Much of my work, passion, and heart, invested in every detail of this historic house, went up in flames. In shock, I had to return to Warsaw, without a home, without a source of livelihood, and with severe depression. 

My friends and kind-hearted individuals did not abandon me in these difficult times. They organized two fundraising campaigns, raising a total of 33,000 PLN. After lengthy and exhausting interventions by my appraiser and lawyer, the insurance company paid out around 100,000 PLN. With most of this money, I managed to carry out the following tasks: cleaning the burnt part of the house to the frame, removing and disposing of post-fire materials, cleaning the entire house with specialized chemicals, ozonating the entire property, sandblasting historic elements of the house and the basement, connecting electricity with a new external meter, removing burnt floors, washing and restoring historic rugs and carpets, deepening the historic cellar for the boiler room, hiring a fire expert, hiring an appraiser, hiring a lawyer, and covering the costs of long psychological therapy. 

Currently, the house is completely cleaned, free of the smell of burning (which I feared the most), and awaits renovation. The actual renovation costs are approximately 292,000 PLN: 

● New wooden triple-glazed windows (8 pieces) – 37,000 PLN 

● Reconstruction and insulation of the burned part (85 m2) – 117,000 PLN

● New electrical installation – 25,000 PLN 

● New hydraulic installation (boiler room, heating, 3 bathrooms) – 78,000 PLN 

● Painting all rooms (256 m2) – 29,000 PLN 

● New wooden doors (3 pieces) – 6,000 PLN 

Unfortunately, I am now facing a huge challenge. The reconstruction costs are extremely high, and my life situation is very difficult. Financing the renovation has become impossible for me in the face of all expenses.

Le 13 décembre, c'était l'anniversaire de l'incendie qui a presque consumé la moitié de ma maison. Si j'avais dormi là cette nuit-là, j'aurais probablement péri dans l'incendie. Le destin a voulu que je ne sois pas là et que la maison ne brûle pas complètement. On pourrait dire que la maison et moi avons eu une deuxième chance dans la vie. 

En 2008, j'ai acheté ce bâtiment post-scolaire à la municipalité lors d'une vente aux enchères publiques. La structure nécessitait de nombreuses réparations, et mes parents m'ont lentement aidé à rénover les pièces. J'ai construit une clôture en bois et des portails pour souligner la beauté de l'architecture traditionnelle, devenue rare dans les villages polonais. Après avoir remboursé le prêt immobilier, j'ai pu commencer les rénovations dans d'autres zones. Entre-temps, j'ai acquis des meubles anciens locaux et de l'artisanat populaire pour les sauver de la destruction et créer des intérieurs charmants et originaux. 

Après une maladie prolongée et la mort de mon père, j'ai ouvert la Maison d'Hôtes - Nadbużański Dom, dans l'ancienne école. Principalement, c'était pour occuper ma mère afin qu'elle ne pense pas trop à la perte d'un être cher. Ma mère (Mme Tereska) s'est bien adaptée à son nouveau rôle, et ceux qui ont visité se souviennent des merveilleuses délices végétariennes servies à la table de Nadbużański. Pendant la pandémie, j'ai déménagé de Varsovie et me suis installé définitivement à Nadbużański Dom. L'endroit est devenu une oasis de tranquillité pour les touristes et, pour moi, la principale source de subsistance et d'inspiration de vie. Avec le temps, j'ai économisé de l'argent, et dans la partie de la maison où vivait autrefois l'enseignante, j'ai entrepris une autre rénovation - un nœud sanitaire avec trois nouvelles salles de bains et une cuisine gastronomique professionnelle est né. Depuis 2019, j'organise le Festival des Saveurs Saisonnières pour promouvoir une alimentation saine et saisonnière, l'art culinaire polonais et les produits écologiques des agriculteurs locaux. En cinq ans, plusieurs éditions thématiques du festival ont eu lieu dans le village de Binduga. 

Une tragédie soudaine a interrompu cette série positive dans la nuit du 13 décembre 2022. En raison d'une défaillance de l'installation électrique, un incendie s'est déclaré, consumant presque la moitié de la maison, tandis que le reste était contaminé par des suies toxiques. Une grande partie de mon travail, de ma passion et de mon cœur, investis dans chaque détail de cette maison historique, est partie en fumée. En état de choc, j'ai dû retourner à Varsovie, sans maison, sans source de subsistance et avec une dépression sévère. 

Mes amis et des personnes bienveillantes ne m'ont pas abandonné dans ces moments difficiles. Ils ont organisé deux collectes de fonds, récoltant au total 33 000 PLN. Après des interventions longues et épuisantes de mon évaluateur et de mon avocat, la compagnie d'assurance a versé environ 100 000 PLN. Avec la plupart de cet argent, j'ai réussi à effectuer les tâches suivantes : nettoyer la partie brûlée de la maison jusqu'à la structure, enlever et éliminer les matériaux post-incendie, nettoyer toute la maison avec des produits chimiques spécialisés, ozoner l'ensemble de la propriété, sabler les éléments historiques de la maison et de la cave, connecter l'électricité avec un nouveau compteur externe, enlever les planchers brûlés, laver et restaurer les tapis et tapis historiques, approfondir la cave historique pour la chaufferie, engager un expert en incendie, engager un évaluateur, engager un avocat, et couvrir les coûts d'une thérapie psychologique prolongée. 

Actuellement, la maison est complètement nettoyée, sans odeur de brûlé (ce que je craignais le plus), et attend d'être rénovée. Le coût réel de la rénovation est d'environ 292 000 PLN :

● Nouvelles fenêtres en bois triple vitrage (8 pièces) – 37 000 PLN    

● Reconstruction et isolation de la partie brûlée (85 m2) – 117 000 PN      

● Nouvelle installation électrique – 25 000 PLN    

● Nouvelle installation hydraulique (chaufferie, chauffage, 3 salles de bains) – 78 000 PLN 

● Peinture de toutes les pièces (256 m2) – 29 000 PLN     

● Nouvelles portes en bois (3 pièces) – 6 000 PLN 

Malheureusement, je me trouve maintenant confronté à un énorme défi. Les coûts de reconstruction sont extrêmement élevés, et ma situation de vie est très difficile. Financer la rénovation est devenu impossible pour moi face à toutes les dépenses.
