Hello,

my name is Kisakye King a.k.a Don Zilla. I'm a DJ, sound designer and a producer of electronic music affiliated with the unfamous Ugandan labels of Hakuna Kulala and Nyege Nyege Tapes. I truly appreciate you taking a moment to read my story.

Recently, while working on my 2nd album, I was robbed at my house, and lost all the gear I'm using to produce music. Making tunes is my passion and joy, and I feel the urge to get back to work as soon as possible. So, I have set up this fundraiser in order to recover quickly and move on to finalizing the last tracks of bass-heavy devotions of my feature release, featuring the finest constellation of original Kampalan artists.

The approximate value of lost items - a computer, MIDI keyboard, synths, sound card, microphones, hard drives - oscillates at around 3000€. In case of receiving a surplus, I will invest it into creating another meeting and practice space for the creative artists of my area. Now, in order to stand tall again I need your support.
