Cześć, jestem Kaśka. Jakiś czas temu prosiłam Was o pomoc w walce o moje zdrowie. Bardzo mi wówczas pomogliście i jestem ogromnie wdzięczna, że mam wokół siebie tak wielu życzliwych ludzi. Dzięki Waszej dotychczasowej pomocy, po wielu badaniach i konsultacjach, udało się znaleźć lekarzy, którzy podjęli się leczenia. We wrześniu, w Zakopanem, przeszłam operację usunięcia lewego płuca wraz opłucną oraz fragmentem żeber. W ubiegłym tygodniu odebrałam wyniki badań histopatologicznych oraz przeszłam badania kontrolne. Niestety lekarze nie mieli dla mnie dobrych wieści...rak nie odpuszcza....Wyniki wykazały, że dotychczasowa chemia przestała działać a na drugim płucu pojawiły się kolejne przerzuty. Obecnie szukam innych rozwiązań  leczenia, w kraju i za granicą. Pojawiają się światełka w tunelu, ale do tego kolejny raz potrzebuję Waszego wsparcia.
Na dzień dzisiejszy otrzymałam kwalifikację do terapii liposomalną annamycyną. Są to badania kliniczne, prowadzone w Warszawie. Niestety czas oczekiwania na rozpoczęcie leczenia wynosi około 7-8 tygodni  a ja nie wiem czy mam tyle czasu. Ponadto lek ten jest w fazie testu i nie wiadomo, czy przyniesie pożądane efekty.
Poszukując innych możliwości znalazłam klinikę w Bolonii (IRCCS Istituto Ortopedico Rizzoli, S.C. Osteoncologia sarcomi del'osso e dei tessuti molli terapie innovative), która po wstępnej analizie mojej dokumentacji, zaproponowała mi konsultację. 10 listopada mam zaplanowaną wizytę oraz badania. Po konsylium lekarskim dowiem się jakie leczenie mi proponują i jakie będą jego koszty.
Teraz zaczyna się walka z czasem, liczy się dla mnie każdy kolejny dzień. Każda przerwa w leczeniu powoduje, że choroba przybiera na sile. Staram się nie poddawać, choć bywa ciężko.Badania, leki, koszty dojazdów i noclegów, rehabilitacja generują ogromne koszty. Dlatego proszę Was jeszcze raz o pomoc i wsparcie. Kolejnej szansy mogę już nie mieć...

Hi, I'm Kaska. A while ago I asked you for help in the fight for my health.

You have helped me a lot at that time and I'm very grateful for having so many loving and caring people around me. Thanks to your help after many tests and visits we were able to find doctors that will start the treatment.

In September in Zakopane I went through surgery to remove the left lung along with the pleura and a fragment of the ribs. In the recent week I have received my results from the histopathological treatment and underwent a check-up.

Sadly, the doctors did not have good news... Cancer did not leave…

The results showed that the current medicine stopped working and furthermore another metastases appeared on my other lung. Currently, I am looking for other treatment solutions, both at home and aboard.

There’s a light in the tunnel, but for this I need your help once again.

As for today I received a qualification for liposomal annamycin therapy. These are medical tests taken in Warsaw. Unfortunately, the waiting time to start the treatment is around 7-8 weeks and I don’t know if I have that much time left. In addition, this drug is in a testing phase, so we don’t know if it’s even going to produce the desired result.

Looking for other possibilities, I have found a clinic in Bologna (IRCCS Istituto Ortopedico Rizzoli, S.C Osteoncologia sarcoma del’osso e dei tessuti molli terapie innovative), which, after a preliminary analysis of my documentation, offered me a consultation. On November 10th I have an appointment and tests schedule. After the medical consultation I will find out what treatment they can offer and what the cost of it will be.

Now the fight against the time begins, everyday counts for me. Each break in treatment will make it stronger. I try not to give up, even though it can be hard. Tests, medications, travel and the accommodation costs, rehabilitation generates lots of costs.

Therefore, I am asking you again for the help and support. I may not have another chance…
