Dear All,
Many crowdfunding campaigns help Ukrainian hospitals, military structures, schools and institutions. However, we’ve decided to help the civilians directly, especially those based in remote Eastern parts of Ukraine, where shops have been shut for many weeks now, where ATMs don’t work anymore and even if they did, little or nothing can be bought these days. People are hiding without access to many facilities which we take for granted. We’ve been in touch with some of such places through the refugees now based in central Europe. The information has been verified and some transports have already been completed successfully. Most recently, the locals asked for the following: painkillers, bandages, dry food such as rice, pasta, flour, lentils, sugar and other food as long as it’s not in glass jars, for example, cartons with milk. As many humanitarian aid transports are targeted, attacked, and food is stolen, our transport is kept secret. For security reasons, we can’t provide now the names of towns, the route or publish the faces of the volunteers. If you contribute, please kindly do so anonymously.
At the moment we need the sum of 3000 GBP (~16 000 PLN) to purchase the food and medications which are urgently needed. To minimise the unnecessary costs, we use online currency exchange services, purchase everything from wholesalers in Poland and make use of discount cards kindly offered to us by the local business people.
You can either contribute via this site in GBP or use the alternative, fee-free Polish crowdfunding site to pay directly in PLN.
