Instead of focussing on the bigger picture, in which individuals become just another number in a mass of statistics, we have decided to focus on helping out a few individuals in a more humanistic and holistic way. One couple especially needs our help, as they have come to Poland from the city of Sumy in eastern Ukraine and are both in need of ongoing medical treatment. We are trying to raise money to help with transporting them to and from hospital and clinics as and when they need, to help them to pay for the medications they need to keep them free from physical pain, and to help them live life with a little dignity as they watch their countrymen fight bravely. Petr and Nataliya have a dream that they will be able to return home, and we are trying to make their stay in Poland as comfortable as possible.
