dziękuję za Wasze dotychczasowe wpłaty na pozostałe nasze zbiórki (są nadal aktywne)!

Tym razem zbieramy środki na zakup żywności o długim terminie przydatności do spożycia. Zakupiliśmy już blisko 200kg konserw, które w najbliższych dniach przewieziemy na Ukrainę. Zatem już na starcie wydaliśmy 4.940,50 PLN i liczymy, że nie tylko uda nam się te środki wspólnie zebrać, ale również uzyskać dodatkowe, za które dokupimy więcej żywności!

Dear Visitors,

My name is Piotr and I live in the area of Warsaw in Poland. Me and my partner Monika, cannot accept what is happening in Ukraine, so we are engaged with providing help to the people of Ukraine since the early days of Russian invasion.

Summary: current project is focused on providing long shelf life food, hygienic items and other supplies to Sosnivka, Chervonohrad region, where it will be distributed by a local charity fund Eco-mercy. More details of our activities and past projects can be found below!

With the involvement of other people - our family members, friends, colleagues from work, people from interests groups like 4x4, horses or camping and finally with people who we do not know, we have provided different types of help since the beginning of the war in Ukraine. In the beginning, we were providing transport from the border in Hrebenne / Rawa Ruska to Warsaw, assisting with further journey or place to stay. At the same time, Monika and the animal rescue foundation she is chairing ("ZŁap Dom") organised several trips to save more than 30 dogs and cats from a fellow shelter in the Ukraine.

It is us exchanging pet food for dogs with friends running a shelter in Ukraine, testing the patience of UA border guards...

To be able to provide the help, we provided our own funds as well as we raised money through this page. Our first project was diapers, wet tissues & pain killers, which we provided to Fundacja "Czajnia" and then blankets which we have given to Olga, who is running a support point at the ukrainian side of the border in Hrebenne.

This is Olga and the goods she is giving away to people queueing long hours at the border crossing point in Hrebenne / Rawa Ruska, on top of the best-ever "gołąbki" or doughnuts she prepared herself and let us try.

Since refugees' needs are changing and there is a great amount of help provided in Poland and neighbouring countries, we started to look what should we do now to be precisely landing with our support, where it is needed at most. We would like to bring your attention to the fact, that on top of the 3.2 million people who left Ukraine for Poland and further away counties in Europe, another 6.5 million migrated from the war-affected regions to the western part of their country. This is where our focus is now...

On 3rd April, we have organised our first trip to Sosnivka a small city in Chervonohrad region, where we met wonderful people running since 20 years a charity Eco-mercy, which supports the local society by running a canteen providing food to children and families affected by poverty. Now, they have expanded their operations to include collection of goods in need and network of volunteers who transport it to the difficult regions in east Ukraine or even the front line.

On top of that, they launched a local production of tourniquets (a tightly compressed bandage used to stop bleeding).
