Na Pomorzu, w Garsku znajduje się działka otoczona lasami i jeziorami. Mieści się w pięknym, mało zaludnionym, dalekim od głośnych tras samochodowych, przemysłu i dużych miast terenie.

Sama działka jest w mniej więcej 2/3 porośnięta drzewami, reszta to łąki z bogactwem ziół, roślinami, grzybami i innymi darami natury. Na leśnej ścieżce można spotkać tropy zwierząt, a nie rzadko się zdarza, że i sam lis, borsuk, jenot, sarna, dzik czy jeleń przebiegnie drogę. Podobno i wilk kręci się w okolicy. Żyje tam również wiele gatunków ptaków w związku z czym została wykonana ekspertyza ornitologiczna, którą zamieszczę poniżej. Poza tym występują tam także nietoperze, płazy i gady oraz przepiękne motyle i inne owady.   

Działka jest wielkości 6,02 ha. Została wystawiona na sprzedaż. Zakwalifikowano ją jako inwestycyjną, co oznacza, że będzie można na niej budować, a co za tym idzie to również doprowadzić drogi, ścinać drzewa, niszczyć siłą rzeczy siedliska roślin i zwierząt. Bardzo chciałabym zobaczyć jak ten las się starzeje, jak zachodzą w nim różne przyrodnicze procesy. Chciałabym, aby wraz z upływem czasu i zaprzestaniem ingerencji człowieka zwiększała się w nim różnorodność biologiczna. Chciałabym także, żeby każdy mógł dalej z niego korzystać jako formy relaksu i rekreacji, pójść na spacer, odpocząć, wyciszyć się czy pozbierać zioła lub grzyby. Marzy mi się, żeby był to wolny las dla nas wszystkich i dla przyrody, w trakcie trwających zmian klimatycznych wszyscy jej potrzebujemy.

Cena wywoławcza to 308 318 złotych. Nie mam niestety takiej ogromnej sumy pieniędzy i nie jestem w stanie w najbliższym czasie jej zdobyć. Dlatego postanowiłam prosić Was o wsparcie.

Zamieszczam opis ornitologiczny:

Największa różnorodność w świecie zwierząt na tym terenie występuje wśród ptaków. Na tej niewielkiej powierzchni stwierdzono aż 42 gatunki ptaków, wynika to z tego, że obszar został przez lata pozostawiony bez ingerencji człowieka. Poniżej prezentujemy listę ptaków stwierdzonych na działce lub w najbliższej okolicy, trzeba tu zauważyć, że jest to lista niepełna i wciąż ją poszerzamy spotykając kolejne gatunki. Ptaki obecne są tu przez cały rok. W okresie lęgowym można słyszeć tu śpiewające pierwiosnki, piecuszki, zięby, kosy, piegże i cierniówki. W okresie migracji krzewy, zarośla i drzewa odwiedzane są przez kwiczoły, droździki i kapturki, a podczas zimowania można tu spotkać gile, trznadle oraz czeczotki. Przez cały rok przebywa

tu osiadła para puszczyków i dzięcioły duże. Prawie wszystkie gatunki ptaków z listy poniżej

objęte są ścisłą ochroną gatunkową. Jeden gatunek – słonka, jest ptakiem łownym.

There is in the north-west of Poland, in Pomorze to be exact, a beautiful place called Garsk which is surrounded by forests and lakes.

Garsk has a low population and is situated far from busy roads, industrial areas and big cities.

Two-thirds of the land we are talking about is covered with trees and the other third with fields rich in herbs, different species of plants, mushrooms and other gifts of nature.

On its forest roads you can discover animal tracks such as foxes, badgers, racoons, roes, wild bores and deers which inhabit that land. It is known to be that even wolfs live in the forests around Garsk! Moreover, a wide variety of amphibians, reptiles, beautiful butterflies, insects and birds live in Garsk, with an ornithological survey undertaken not so long ago to highlight how enriched that land is with animal life. The number of bird species that reside in Garsk is particularly notable, with a list of species that live in the Garsk area located further on in the text.

The land we are talking about above is 15 acres in size, and has now sadly been put up for sale. The land has now been designated as an investment project, which means that once bought it will be possible for development to occur uncontested, with the construction of new roads, deforestation, and the destruction of the habitat of plants and animals now highly probable.

The date for the auction will most likely be announced next week, with a months window until the live auction. The starting price for the land is nearly 308 318 zł. Unfortunately, I am unable personally to fund the purchase of the land, and I am not able to get it any time soon. Hence, that's why I decided to ask you for support.

With this fundraiser and with your help, I would like to buy the land in order to conserve the rich biodiversity of the forest as it is now and to keep it away from big investors that could potentially deforest the land. Before you consider whether to contribute towards this cause I invite you to see how this forest is ageing and how many various natural processes take place in it. I would like everyone else to be able to visit it and enjoy relaxation and recreation: go for a walk, rest, calm down or pick herbs or mushrooms. Let's make it a free forest for all of us.

The greatest diversity in the animal world in this area is among birds. In this small area, as many as 42 species of birds have been found, this is because the area has been left without human interference for years. Below we present a list of birds found on the plot or in the immediate area, it should be noted here that this is an incomplete list and we are constantly expanding it, meeting new species. Birds are present here all year round. During the breeding season, you can hear singing primroses, stalks, finches, blackbirds, freckles and thorns. In the period of migration, bushes, shrubs and trees are visited by field flowers, seedlings and caps, and during wintering, you can meet bullfinches, buntings and red cups here. All year round a pair of tawny owls and great woodpeckers are settled here. Almost all bird species from the list below are under strict species protection. One of them is the woodcock which is also a game bird.
