Family history:

"Maria's life has never been easy. She is a single carer of her two grandchildren - Klaudia and Konrad.

Klaudia and Konrad are disabled children, they both suffer from FAS (Fetal Alcohol Syndrome). They are under the care of special educators and psychologists. Mareover Maria suffers from depression, diabetes and high blood pressure. She is recently a widow, her husband was an alcoholic and oppressed the family. She renounced her husband's property due to the loans he had taken. Today, a woman is on her feet. Renovates the rooms of the house one by one. She is grateful to God for her grandchildren, who are her whole life and joy. She knows she has someone to live for.

The family lives on benefits and 500+ benefits. After paying bills and buying medicines in the total amount of 2,550 PLN per family member remains only 790 PLN."

Maria, despite the difficult situation, tries to take care of her grandchildren and the house as godd as she can. She receives a lot of support from teachers and educators and she is very grateful that they provide children with lots of activities. She also consults a psychologist herself. The family likes to spend time together - cooking and baking cakes together is their favorite activity. There is also a little cat in the house, Mruczek. He is the mascot of the house.

Klaudia likes to draw and sketch. Konrad dreams of little cars. Mrs. Maria is full of faith that the grandchildren she hopes that they will grow up to be good people.

3 main needs:

1) Wardrobe

Klaudia's room lacks a wardrobe of maximum size 180x200. The girl is in her teenage years. She would like to have a place to arrange and segregate her things. The whole family will benefit from this, as they now have to fit in one wardrobe.

2) Microwave

The microwave the family uses is broken. The purchase of a new one exceeds the family's financial capabilities.

3) Food

The family lives modestly because they cannot afford to buy the necessary products. The food supply will save the family money to pay the current bills.
