The horrible war which is going on in Ukraine right now split my family in 2 parts. I'm coming from Eastern Ukraine from a small town named Rubizhne. Before war mostly no one heard about it, but now in news they are mentioning Rubizhne so often because it's 85% destroyed, describing the situation as "Second Mariupol" and each day under occupation is looking like hell. In Luhansk Oblast civil defense siren is "ON" 70 days without stopping even for a second. My aunt and her two teenage daughters(16 y.o) could escape by evacuation train before the "road of life" was cut off. They came to Warsaw on 28 of March from city named Sievierodonetsk. Could not come earlier because there was no official evacuation, and to go by their own was so dangerous. Few days ago we received information that their flat is destroyed (FIRST PICTURE, taken 11.06.2022), bomb explosion and fire. Unfortunately there is no way back to Ukraine for my family. They don't know what to do next and how to start life from 0 now here, in Poland. All what my family had is mostly destroyed. My parents are still in Rubizhne. They are staying with grandma, as she has problems with legs and can't move by herself. Living in a root cellar since 24.02.2022. Cooking on fire and collecting water during a rain. There is no electricity, gas, heating, water mostly 3 month. I really hope the situation will change soon and I will be able to back to my free Ukrainian homeland.
I will be so thankful to receive any kind of help which can be possible, to make start of new life of my relatives a bit easier here, in Poland. As they house was completely destroyed they have to find a new place where to live and recover from the most horrible period of their life. Thank you very much to everyone who is trying to help us to pass through this nightmare.
