We are organising this fundraiser to support our scholarship student, Liubou, in order to gather funds that will enable her to study at the University of Oxford this autumn, where she was offered a place on the Biochemistry course. Securing a place at Oxford is a well-deserved end result of Liubou's incredible academic performance, engagement, hard work, and perseverance. 

With the generous support of our school community - parents, teachers, and school supporters as well as Akademeia High School Foundation and Liubou’s family efforts we were able to raise an impressive total of 200,000 zł so far. We now have a remaining amount of 100,000zł to collect in order to cover the basic costs of her first-year study in the United Kingdom. The cost of tuition and accommodation in a student dormitory totals 293,300zł per year for the 4 year programme.

Everybody in our school community recognizes Liubou for all her dedication and involvement and we would like to thank her for her impact on our community by helping her to realise her dream to study at Oxford, a destination she has worked so hard for.

Along with an outstanding academic performance and scientific extracurricular activities, Liubou still has managed to find time for outreach programmes, such as volunteering at the school summer camp for underprivileged children, giving English classes to Ukrainian children or starting and leading a science communication club to popularize science among students. Liubou’s attitude embodies the values we would like to see in our students - commitment to learning, perseverance, dedication, and kindness.

All the money collected through this platform will be transferred to Liubou’s fund. If the raised amount exceeds the first-year funding, it will go directly to Liubou’ s second year of study.

Organizujemy zbiórkę, aby wesprzeć naszą stypendystkę, Liubou. Zgromadzone środki pozwolą jej rozpocząć studia biochemiczne na uniwersytecie Oksfordzkim. Oferta z Oksfordu to zwieńczenie ciężkiej pracy, zaangażowania i wytrwałości jakimi Liubou wykazała się w czasie nauki w ramach dwuletniego stypendium w naszej szkole.

Dzięki hojnemu wsparciu szkolnej społeczności – rodziców, nauczycieli, Fundacji Akademeia High School oraz przyjaciół szkoły, udało nam się do tej pory zebrać imponującą kwotę 200 000 zł. Do pełnego sukcesu brakuje nam jeszcze 100 000 zł. Łączna kwota pozwoli pokryć podstawowe koszty pierwszego roku nauki w Wielkiej Brytanii: czesne oraz zakwaterowanie w akademiku to 293 000 zł rocznie na oferowanych jej 4-letnich studiach.

Liubou to uczennica wyjątkowa. W szkole znana jest nie tylko dzięki wybitnym wynikom w nauce, zaangażowaniu w projekty badawcze, czy sukcesom w olimpiadach. Liubou jest osobą, która w natłoku akademickich zobowiązań potrafi znaleźć czas na zaangażowanie się w społeczne życie szkoły np. poprzez wolontariat podczas szkolnego obozu letniego organizowanego dla dzieci z nieuprzywilejowanych środowisk, korepetycje z języka angielskiego dla ukraińskich uchodźców, czy stworzenie oraz prowadzenie klubu popularyzacji nauk ścisłych wśród uczniów.

Postawa i zachowanie Liubou reprezentują wszystkie wartości, jakie chcielibyśmy widzieć u naszych uczniów: wytrwałość, poświęcenie, życzliwość i szacunek dla innych. Organizując zrzutkę chcemy podziękować jej za pozytywny wpływ na życie szkoły i pomóc jej zrealizować marzenie o studiach w Oxfordzie. 

Całość środków zgromadzonych za pośrednictwem tej platformy zostanie przekazana na fundusz na rzecz Liubou. Jeśli kwota przewyższy koszt nauki na pierwszym roku studiów, będzie automatycznie przekierowana na drugi rok nauki.
