Pomóżmy Miriam — samotnej mamie z Zimbabwe, która w Polsce walczy o lepsze życie dla swoich dzieci

Miriam ma 40 lat i jest mamą trójki dzieci. Przyjechała do Polski z Zimbabwe, aby dać swoim pociechom szansę na przyszłość, której sama nigdy nie miała. Zawsze była samodzielna, pracowita i pełna determinacji. Nigdy nie prosiła o pomoc — wszystko zdobywała własnymi siłami.

Niestety życie wystawiło ją na ciężką próbę.

Kilka tygodni temu stan zdrowia Miriam nagle się pogorszył. Trafiła do szpitala, gdzie wykryto u niej groźną bakterie . Osłabienie, leczenie i konieczność kolejnych badań sprawiły, że przez 8 dni nie mogła pracować.

A ponieważ jest zatrudniona na umowę zlecenie w agencji pracy tymczasowej — gdy nie pracuje, nie zarabia.

Miriam pracuje w firmie zajmującej się obróbką mięsa. Dziś, po otrzymaniu pozytywnego wyniku na obecność bakterii, została natychmiast odsunięta od pracy.

15 grudnia czekają ją kolejne badania, a na ich wyniki trzeba będzie czekać tydzień. Istnieje duże ryzyko, że do końca roku nie wróci do pracy, co oznacza jedno: zostaje bez jakichkolwiek środków do życia.

Dodatkowo Miriam nie ma możliwości powrotu do domu na święta — bilet do Zimbabwe to wydatek kilku tysięcy złotych, kwota absolutnie poza jej zasięgiem.

Choć bardzo tęskni, nawet nie dopuszczała do siebie takiego marzenia — bo najpierw myśli o dzieciach, o opłatach za ich internat, o ich wyżywieniu, ubraniach i codziennych potrzebach.

Święta spędzi więc sama, 12 tysięcy kilometrów od swoich dzieci.

Wyobraź sobie samotną mamę, chorą, osłabioną i tak daleko od tych, których kocha najbardziej.

Wyobraź sobie jej codzienny lęk:

czy wystarczy jej na jedzenie,

czy uda się opłacić internat dzieci,

czy będzie mogła wysłać im cokolwiek...

Miriam nigdy nie miała odwagi prosić o pomoc.

Ale dziś ma nas — ludzi, którzy wierzą, że dobro mnoży się, gdy się nim dzielimy.

Pomóżmy jej przetrwać ten trudny czas.

Niech w te święta wydarzy się mały, a może nawet duży CUD.

Nie przechodźmy obojętnie.

Każda złotówka ma znaczenie.

Każda wpłata doda jej wiary w ludzi i pozwoli poczuć, że nie jest sama.

Dajmy Miriam wsparcie, którego tak bardzo potrzebuje.

To dzielna mama, która każdego dnia walczy o lepsze życie dla swoich dzieci.

Let’s Help Miriam — a Single Mother from Zimbabwe Who Came to Poland Seeking a Better Life for Her Children

Miriam is 40 years old and the mother of three children. She came to Poland from Zimbabwe to give her kids a chance for a future she never had herself. She has always been independent, hardworking, and determined. She never asked for help — she earned everything on her own.

Unfortunately, life has put her through a very difficult test.

A few weeks ago, Miriam’s health suddenly deteriorated. She was admitted to the hospital, where doctors detected the bacteria. Weakness, treatment, and the need for further medical tests prevented her from working for 8 days.

And because she works on a task-based contract through a temporary employment agency — when she doesn’t work, she earns nothing.

Miriam is employed at a meat-processing company. Today, after receiving a positive test result confirming the presence of bacteria, she was immediately removed from work.

She is scheduled for additional tests on December 15th, and the results will take another week. There is a high risk that she will not be able to return to work until the end of the year, which means one thing: she will be left without any source of income.

Additionally, Miriam cannot return home for Christmas — a ticket to Zimbabwe costs over 3,000 PLN, an amount completely beyond her reach.

Although she misses her children terribly, she never even allowed herself to dream about going home — because her first thoughts are always about them: the cost of their boarding school, their meals, clothes, and everyday needs.

She will therefore spend Christmas alone, 12,000 kilometers away from her children.

Imagine a single mother — sick, exhausted, and so far away from the people she loves the most.

Imagine her daily fear:

• whether she will have enough for food,

• whether she can pay for her children’s boarding school,

• whether she will be able to send them anything at all...

Miriam has never had the courage to ask for help.

But now she has us — people who believe that goodness grows when it is shared.

Let’s help her get through this difficult time.
