Hello!

Due to the current situation in Ukraine, there are many people who want to help. Many opened their hearts and united together like never before. Our hearts grow when seeing the number of items and goods collections, donations, and enormous help many people provide to save others who are fleeing from war. However, let us not forget, that our four-legged friends are often family members and in the current situation are left on their own, or run away with their families in bags, backpacks, and cages. Some of their owners lost all their belongings. When supplying refugees with shelter, lets not forget that a dog or a cat is something very important to them!  

Since the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine, with the help of “Nowosądeckie Serducho” Association, we collect things that pets need, such as:

• Dog food (dry/canned)

• Bottled water (uncarbonated)

• Blankets

• Pet cages

• Housebreaking pads and flea treatment/control medication 

• Pet health maintenance supplies (eye/ear drops)

• Bowls

• Leashes and collars

The demand for help is huge! The number of homeless animals, not only the stray ones, are growing at an alarming rate. The owners who come with their pets often share with them the food they receive at the border, because there is no sufficient supply of pet food.

Let us remember that some of these animals are sick and injured, and this is where the problem arises. Buying medication and medical supplies is not something that we usually think to buy when donating pet supplies. There is a lack of bandages, needles, syringes, medications, hence the idea for this collection. We want to provide help to all animals most in need, but without your contributions, we will not be able to do so.

*Here are a few examples of our accomplishments up to date:

• Shipped 2 large transports of pet food and pet supplies to the Ukrainian border. One directly to the border crossing, the other to the Centaurus Foundation, which has its site in Medyka, Poland by the Ukrainian border.

• Shipment of medication and typical cat supplies to Mielec, Poland, and from there directly to Ukraine to support the sick cats in nearby shelters.

• Transport of pet food and pet supplies to the veterinary site at the railway station in Przemyśl, Poland, at which volunteers distribute pet food packages to those who arrive with their pets.

• Established cooperation with the Charity Foundation from Munich, Germany and transported the collection of pet supplies from them to the Ukrainian borders.

We are not stopping! We are constantly looking for places where our help is most needed. We do not send packages just anywhere, we confirm and make sure that the needs on site are real before we send the help. Ze względu na aktualną sytuację na Ukrainie wszyscy chcą pomagać. Ludzie otworzyli serca i zjednoczyli się jak nigdy wcześniej. Serce rośnie patrząc na ilość zbiórek, ogrom pomocy i serca jakie wkładacie w ratowanie ludzi uciekających przed wojną. Nie zapominajmy jednak o braciach i siostrach na czterech łapach którzy często są członkami rodziny i w aktualnej sytuacji pozostali zostawieni sami sobie, bądź uciekają ze swoimi rodzinami w workach, plecakach, transporterach. Ich właściciele często potracili całe swoje dobytki. Zapewniając rodzinom schronienie nie zapominajmy o tym, że ten pies czy kot jest dla nich czymś ogromnie ważnym!

Działając w Stowarzyszeniu Nowosądeckie Serducho od początku inwazji na Ukrainę prowadzimy zbiórkę potrzebnych zwierzakom rzeczy takich jak:

• Karmy dobrej jakości (suche/mokre)

• Naturalna woda mineralna (niegazowana)

• Koce

• Transportery oraz klatki kennelowe

• Podkłady oraz środki przeciwpchelne

• Środki higieniczne dla zwierząt (krople do oczu/uszu)

• Miski

• Smycze i obroże

Zapotrzebowanie jest ogromne! Zwierząt- nie tylko tych bezpańskich, przybywa w zastraszajacym tempie. Właściciele przyjeżdżający ze swoimi pupilami często dzielą się z nimi jedzeniem otrzymywanym na granicy ! Ponieważ brakuje właśnie karmy dla zwierząt.

Pamietajmy, że cześć z tych zwierząt jest chora i ranna i tu pojawia się problem.

Zakup lekarstw oraz produktów medycznych jest czymś o czym najczęściej nie myślimy w pierwszej kolejności. Brakuje bandaży, igieł, strzykawek, leków… stad pomysł na tą zbiórkę. Chcemy zapewnić pomoc wszystkim zwierzakom- tym najbardziej potrzebującym również… bez Waszych wpłat nie damy rady…

*kilka slow o tym co już zrobiliśmy;

• Wysłane 2 duże transporty z karma oraz akcesoriami na granice. Jeden bezpośrednio na przejście graniczne drugi do fundacji Centaurus która ma swoją bazę w Medyce.

• Transport leków i produktów typowo kocich do Mielca a z tamtąd bezpośrednio na Ukrainę do chorych kotów w pobliskich schroniskach

• Transport karmy oraz akcesoriów na dworzec w Przemyślu gdzie w punkcie weterynaryjnym wolontariusze rozdają paczki żywnościowe przyjeżdżającym ze swoimi pupilami.

• Nawiązanie współpracy z Niemiecka Fundacja z Monachium i transport zbiórki od nich na granice.

Nie zatrzymujemy się- cały czas szukamy miejsc w których nasza pomoc jest najbardziej potrzebna. Nie wysyłamy paczek „na ślepo” upewniamy się, że potrzeby na miejscu są realne.
