Today at the Matter of Art Biennale in Prague, GALAS Collective hosted a participatory happening — strangers completed tasks, cooked together, and shared a meal.
The dish was borscht. For Ukrainians, it’s one of those things that’s hard to explain to someone who didn’t grow up with it — it just means home. Cooking it here felt like the right thing to do.
All donations collected today go to Resistance Support Club, an organization supporting people affected by the war in Ukraine.
