Dearest friends
I would like to thank you all deeply from my heart. Days go by and more and more people is escaping their homes. Today's news (March 7th) mention about 1 000 000 people. I'm sure you know very well what is happening in Ukraine.
To bring you some hope and stay with what is good and king I'm sending you a photo from a train station somewhere in my country.
with lots of love
Ania

Opis zrzutki
How do you take a breath facing the war next door? How do you practice and stay mindful?
Slowly, slowly our emotions settle down as we direct all our energy to shelter and feed those who are arriving. Those are mothers with children as all men between 18 and 60 years old have to stay in Ukraine. They arrive with minimal luggage.
The individual response is amazing. From Thursday over 100 000 people crossed our border and there are more waiting to cross. On or side they are taken care of, most will be staying in our homes. We are sharing what is needed. They are getting food and necessities, medicines, and all of that is collected by us, by people. And nobody knows for how long they will stay here and how many more will arrive.
I started this fundraising kindly requesting my bellowed fellow yoga teachers and my Buddhist Sangha for the support. The money collected here will be spent on direct help: food, hygiene products, clothes, rent and bills of Ukrainian refugees in Poland who are taken care of by my friends and their families.
War in Ukraine and the situation of refugees is touching me deep and directly awaking the war trauma of my grandparents. My husband Sonam is a Tibetan refugee. He, as a small boy with his parents, escaped occupied Tibet crossing the Himalayas. We know the terrors Ukrainians are facing now too well. We have to act and help. It is time to put compassion into action.
with love and hope
Ania
