The goal of this fundraising is to cover the costs to fight the cancer of my dog. This treatment consists of 15 sessions of Radiotherapy that takes place in December. After undergoing a maxillectomy to remove the tumor of his jaw. Now the dog needs to continue his treatment abroad, in Bolnica za živali Postojna, a clinic specialized in radiation oncology located in Slovenia.

So far, I have faced all the expenses of different veterinary clinics such as: surgery, oncologist consultations, CT scans, medications, biopsy of the tumor and lymphs etc, all in one month only. The biggest expense comes next, the cost of Radiotherapy is €6000, this type of treatment is the most reliable option to get rid of cancer and confirm the dog is finally free of cancer.

The situation is complicated since the dog needs to undergo this treatment as soon as possible and collect as much money as possible in a short period of time, but this is what cancer is about, and as you can understand I have to do whatever is possible to provide my dog with the best life possible.

Another difficulty is the fact that without Radiotherapy, the extracted tumor is expected to grow again. With time, it may spread to other parts of his body and vital organs, so this is why acting with urgency is definitely a must. The ideal time to start the radiotherapy is after one month of the surgery, that is on the 2nd week of December.
