Hello, hello!!!

 The Christmas season is approaching, which is not joyful for everyone, so we would like to share our happiness with someone special!

 Every year “ Szlachetna Paczka” charity event is organized in Poland and we do our best to be a part of it. This year we have chosen a family that cannot meet their needs on their own. We were moved by the story of Mrs Anna (67 years old) and her son Jerzy (45 years old). Both are disabled and have no one to help them. Below we provide a description of their daily life and ask you to participate in this action. What they dream about is not too much for us but for them it is changing life!

Let us share a short description of their daily routine and needs….

“Ms. Anna does not get out of bed, she can only sit up, be present, have a meal, and drink. Her only activity is reading because the TV is currently out of order. Every day she has contact with a caregiver and spends time with her son after he returns from the day care centre, where he interacts with other people, has meals provided, and participates in therapeutic activities. They plan each day together, including shopping, expenses, and necessary household chores. This is very challenging for them, but they are persistent, heroic, and grateful to those who take an interest in their fate. They dream of a new apartment that would meet their expectations, be warm, and peaceful. The family's income is 4700 PLN, consisting of Ms. Anna's pension and allowances. After deducting the costs of housing and medical expenses amounting to 2779 PLN, the family is left with 1026 PLN per person for living.”

Non perishable food:

• Fruit tea

• Instant coffee

• Flour

• Sugar

• Jar of jam

• Canned fish

• Breakfast cereals

• Pasta

• Milk

• Oil

• Canned meat

• Canned fruits and vegetables

• Other products in canes and jars

Cleaning supplies: soap, body wash, toothbrush, adult diapers, laundry detergent, other items like baby powder, olive oil, Sudocrem, adult diapers size S/M, shampoo, toothpaste, fabric softener, dishwashing liquid, cleaning fluids (toilet cleaner).

Clothes:

• Anna: warm winter nightdress and sweatshirt (size Smal)

• Jerzy: dark colour sweatsuit and winter jacket (XL),

     winter Ankle shoes size 44

Their special dreamt gifts: hand and face cream for Anna and deodorant for Jerzy

We leave in the office a can to collect money and boxes for the things that you can grab from your home but you can also find here a link to donate.
