Dear friends from around the world,

Me and my friends are cooking for Ukrainians in Krakow and we have more and more of them coming. They sleep or wait at our main stations, wait in the long lines for the embassy or are accomodated in big groups in diffrent places inlcuding polish people's homes! We want to help as much as we can by cooking for them and for an amazing volounteers that are working countless hours. Polish tradition is that if you have a guests, you cannot let them be hungry!!!

We are making naleśniki - polish pancakes (plain and stuffed), cause it's a meal you can take in your hand and it's very feeling, but also lunch meals like chicken with salad, pasta, rice with veggis etc. Paula who is a proffesional chef is turning these simple meals into something very special and nutrisious. She is one of the best cooks I know and we have a lot of good friends pouring their hearts into cooking with us to make sure it's really good.

We also buy food products that it's needed at the refugee stations in Krakow and for the transport to Ukraine: milk, juices, water, ingredients for breakfasts, baby food, instant food, energy bars etc.

Hej przyjaciele,

Gotujemy dla Ukraińców w Krakowie, których ciągle przybywa. Śpią na stacji, stoją w długich kolejkach do konsulatu, są rozlokowani w różnych punktach w mieście i w domach prywatnych ludzi. Chcemy im pomóc jak tylko potrafimy, gotując dobre i pożywne posiłki. Sami znacie polską tradycję - gość nigdy nie może być głodny!

Robimy naleśniki, bo rozchodzą się bardzo szybko. Jest to danie dla dorosłych i dla dzieci. Łatwo je zjeść, a wciąż jest bardzo sycące. Paula wymyśla cuda i robimy od zwykłych naleśników z dżemem po nadziewane na słono z przeróżnymi farszami. Dużo dobrych ludzi wokoło pomaga, a jesteśmy w stanie tego zrobić dużo nie takim wielkim kosztem. Sytuacja zmienia się na bieżąco i może będziemy też gotować inne rzeczy, jeśli będą takie potrzeby. Potrzebujemy pieniędzy na składniki, opakowania i transport.
