Ta instytucja i jej wspaniali pracownicy pomogli mi i mojej siostrze przetrwać najgorsze 11 dni życia, kiedy umierała nasza mama. Ich wiedza i wsparcie okazały się nieocenione, a profesjonalizm i empatia pani doktor były dla nas opoką w tym trudnym czasie. Chciałabym się odwdzięczyć, dokładając choć małą cegiełkę do ich działalności, a pieniądze w takich miejscach zawsze są potrzebne.

Warszawskie Hospicjum Społeczne stara się nieść wszelkiego rodzaju pomoc osobom w terminalnej fazie choroby nowotworowej, które pragną resztę życia spędzić we własnym domu, oraz opiekującym się nimi rodzinom. Wierzymy, że każdy człowiek ma prawo do godnej śmierci w otoczeniu najbliższych, w atmosferze miłości i prawdy, wolny od upokarzających cierpień fizycznych. W tym trudnym okresie zarówno chorzy, jak i ich rodziny i opiekunowie potrzebują życzliwego i profesjonalnego wsparcia, a często także pomocy materialnej. Rocznie udzielamy pomocy blisko dwustu chorym i ich najbliższym na terenie lewobrzeżnej Warszawy, głównie w dzielnicach: Bemowo, Bielany, Śródmieście, Wola i Żoliborz.

This institution and its wonderful employees helped me and my sister survive the worst 11 days of life when our mom was dying. Their knowledge and support proved invaluable, and the doctor's professionalism and empathy were our bedrock at this difficult time. I would like to repay them by putting a small brick into their business, and money is always needed in places like this.

The Warsaw Social Hospice seeks to provide all kinds of help to those who are in the terminal phase of cancer, who want to spend the rest of their lives in their own home, and their families who cares after them. We believe that every human being has the right to a decent death, surrounded by loved ones, in an atmosphere of love and truth, free from humiliating physical suffering. During this difficult period, both sick and their families and carers need sympathetic and professional support, and often material assistance. Every year we provide assistance to nearly two hundred sick people and their closest families in the area of Warsaw, mainly in the districts of Bemowo, Bielany, Śródmieście, Wola i Żoliborz.

Helping family and carers in everyday life problems

Psychologist help

Supplying the sick with medical equipment and rehabilitative equipment

Material and financial assistance to families in need

Accompanying the sick and their loved ones during the period of illness until the end
