Description

Zdrowa żywność, świeże warzywa i owoce, zero dodatku cukru i soli.

Wnętrze będzie pełne własnoręcznie wykonanych ozdób, a wszystko będzie inspirowane latami 70tymi.

Niestety, wiele rzeczy muszę sprowadzić z Polski, opłacić transport, podatki i cło. Do tego dochodzi super wysoki czynsz - ponad 15 tys zł miesięcznie! Jeśli wpłacisz jedynie złotówkę i powiesz o tej zbiórce rodzinie i znajomym, pomożesz mni spełnić moje marzenie o kawiarni, a dzieciaki i rodzice w Reykjaviku będą w końcu mieli swoje własne miejsce!

English below:

It's hard to believe, but in Reykjavik, the capital of Iceland, there is no sigle place where parents can go with their kids when the days are short and the weather is bad. I had o idea, until I had my son, Stefan. We had no chance to go out and network with other parents and children the same age as Stefan. So if there is no space like this, I decided to open one!

The business idea

1. Have a safe play area for children aged 0-3 years with a ball field, slide, meaningful toys, blocks, etc.

2. Offer hot drinks such as coffee and tea, along with cakes,

3. Serve the best hot chocolate ever,

4. Offer cold drinks such as lemonade, soda, etc.,

5. Offer healthy snacks for children - no added sugars and salt,

6. To offer parents space to sit down and relax, meet other parents, spend quality time with family and friends,

7. Organize birthday parties for children and their parents,

8. Organize cultural events for young children - play different instruments, read books in different languages, search for Easter eggs and more,

9. Organize clothes and toys swaps - encouragement to stay environmentally friendly.

What makes the company different

I am the mother of a one-year-old boy and know what the needs of parents can be. I personally found it difficult to find a place to meet my friends with young children, especially during the winter. There is no such place in Reykjavík.

I want to give parents and the youngest kids cozy space, with safe, certified toys and healty food, where everyone is welcome. The cakes would be baked, never frozen. The hot chocolate would be different than in any other place in Reykjavik. Snacks would be healthy, with no added sugar or salt and water bottles suitable for the children's age.

The space

I decided to invest my savings into this project. My whole heart is in it and my vision is very clear. Unfortunately, my private funds are not enough to make it as good as I'd like to.

The bigger space I will be able to afford, the more toys and entertainment kids will get. I also want to give parents a place to be comfortable and relaxed - this requires space, too.

Below you can see an example of some toys and children equipment we could put there.

Lovely wooden boat will take little sailors far far away into the land of imagination.

If we have enough money for the space that is big enough and money for the item, then we would also have this amazing wooden house with rope tunnel, climbing wall and hiding spot.

The pool with balls is a must, of course!

Having fun and meaningful play is not only running around and jumping. I am going to buy lots of blocks, puzzles, some musical toys, cars, doll house, small kitchen, small workshop, etc. I would also have at least few toys that meet the Montessori approach.

I would like our kids to play with the best toys, a lot of them made of wood, all of them safe and made with care.

Playing mats, contrast cards, soft toys, baby rockers, etc. are somethig I'd like to offer the smallest children.

Interior

I want this space to be fun for both parents and kids. Lots of colors, DIY decor ideas with a touch of the 70's vibe.

MENU

There will be cake. Of course. But not just a cake. Our beautiful and super tasty cakes are always baked, never frozen. Made with lots of love by small local manufacturers who truly live for their job! We will always have a vegan option. Our muffins will be kids friendly. No sugar added, yet full of taste!

My ambition is to serve the best hot chocolat in Reykjavik. Beautiful, cozy, dense, full of flavour comfort food. Just like the one I once tried in Lviv, Ukraine.

Chia puddings will feed people from 6 months to 100 years of age.

Freshly made fruit and vegetable mousse or the little ons, made with steamed vegetables will make all adults jeleaus of their babies' food.

And waffles like nowhere else. Sweet or savoury, but always fresh and healthy.

All kids like bread. I know that and this is why there will be tasty bread and super tasty hummus to spread over it.

It's not a fancy menu. But it is fresh, healthy food full of taste and nutritional value everyone needs. Regardless of the age.

WHY DO I NEED YOU?

I need to order a lot of things from abroad, which means travel and customs costs. Additionally, the rent in Reykjavik is super high - over 3000 EUR a month! That makes over 3300 USD! By donating as little as few cents and sharing this with your friends you can help my dreams of having a cafeteria come true. And thanks to you, parents and kids in Reykjavik will finally have a place to go.
