Zbieramy na wydanie w polskim wydawnictwie Sonatiny na saksofon i fortepian ukraińskiego kompozytora Sergeia Leontieva.
Agresja Rosji na Ukrainę z dnia na dzień pokrzyżowała wiele planów i marzeń... Pomóżmy spełnić jedno z nich artyście, który wraz z rodziną pozostał w swojej objętej wojną ojczyźnie.
Kwota zebrana powyżej celu zbiórki zostanie przekazana na pomoc humanitarną dla Ukrainy.
Sergei Leontiev (Ph.D.) is a Ukrainian award-winning composer, who successfully works as film composer, arranger, orchestrator and music producer. He received Lev Revutsky Award (2019) for Film Scores and Symphonic Music. He has been a member of the National Composers' Union of Ukraine since 2017 and of the Ukrainian Association of Electroacoustic Music since 2016.
In 2015, Sergei received M. A. in Composition (composition Prof. Igor Shcherbakov, orchestration Prof. Lesya Dychko) and in 2018 completed postgraduate study at the Music Theory Department (scientific advisor, Prof. M. Kovalinas) at the Petro Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine.
Sergei authored several scientific articles dedicated to the musical composition in Hollywood films. He studied film scoring with award-winning composers: Igor Stetsyuk, Alla Zagaykevych, Richard Bellis, Evan Evans, and Michael Price; attended master-classes with Alexandre Desplat, Danny Elfman, Harry Gregson-Williams, John Powell, Heitor Pereira and Edward Artemiev. He is currently doing work composing music for feature films, documentaries, and animation.
Sergei’s music reflects various genres: chamber and symphonic works, choral miniatures, electroacoustic music, and pop music. His works are performed in France, Austria, Germany, Poland, Lithuania, Belarus, China, and Ukraine; in the programs of festivals ("MUSICACOUSTICA-BEJING”, "Music Premieres of the Season", "EM-Visia", "Two Days and Two Nights of New Music", "Farbotony", "Book Arsenal", "Mute Nights", etc.). His music sounds on the TV, over the radio, in concert halls by National Symphonic Orchestra of Ukraine, Kyiv Soloists, Kyiv Camerata, Kyiv Symphony Orchestra, Cherkassy Symphony Orchestra, Chamber Choir “Khreschatyk”, Sed Contra Ensemble etc.
Sergei received a number of awards for his work such as President’s Scholarship for Young Artists (2018, 2019) and the Scholarship “Gaude Polonia” by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of the Republic of Poland (2016). He is the winner of the Envision Sound Program contest organized by British Council and Dovzhenko Center (2018) and the Druskininkai Artists Residence program by the Lithuanian Composers' Union (2013).
In 2016, Sergei completed an internship at the Karol Szymanowski Music Academy in Katowice (Poland) (advisor Prof. Marek Toporowski). He also performed concerts in France, Austria, Poland, and Ukraine as a harpsichord player and organist.
