Wojna, która toczy się za naszą wschodnią granicą dotyka wszystkich aspektów funkcjonowania ukraińskiego państwa i życia społecznego w Ukrainie. Działania rosyjskiego agresora skierowane są nie tylko przeciwko mieszkańcom Ukrainy oraz infrastrukturze gospodarczej państwa ale mają na celu likwidację tożsamości narodowej, co jest widoczne na okupowanych terenach. Rosjanie konsekwentnie niszczą oraz rabują muzea, uczelnie, galerie, biblioteki… Kultura stanowi w tym przypadku równie ważne narzędzie oporu, jak działania militarne. Skontaktowaliśmy się z pracownikami, Lwowskiej Narodowej Galerii Sztuki, którzy wyrazili potrzebę zakupu generatora prądu o mocy 5 kW. Takie urządzenie pomoże przetrwać w czasie rosyjskich ataków na infrastrukturę cywilną, skutkujących brakiem prądu.

The war that is taking place beyond our eastern border affects all aspects of the functioning of the Ukrainian state and social life in Ukraine. The actions of the Russian aggressor are directed not only against the inhabitants of Ukraine and the economic infrastructure of the state, but are aimed at eliminating national identity, which is visible in the occupied territories. The Russians consistently destroy and rob museums, universities, galleries, libraries… In this case, culture is as important a tool of resistance as military action. We contacted the employees of the Lviv National Art Gallery, who expressed the need to purchase a 5 kW power generator. Such a device will help to survive during Russian attacks on civilian infrastructure, resulting in a power outage.
