The family comes from the Ukrainian town - Krivoj Róg. They came to Kraków in July 2021. They rented an apartment and decided to stay in Poland longer. Dad started working and mum was looking after the children.

In September 2021 Melaniia started her education in the first class of Primary School 25 in Krakow, and her younger daughter was enrolled in kindergarten during the school year. They were happy to have found their place on earth.

At the beginning of February 2022. Dad and Melania left for Ukraine. Mr. Paweł planned to pass a driving test to improve his qualifications, while for the girl it was supposed to be a gift for her 8th birthday - a visit to her home country. It was there that they found out about the outbreak of the war.

Dad and Melania found themselves in the fighting zone, while mother and younger daughter were left alone, without a livelihood.

Thanks to the support and involvement of strangers from Ukraine and Poland, Melania was safely transported to Poland after a few weeks and joined her mother and sister. Unfortunately, her father - the only breadwinner remained in Ukraine to participate in defending his country.

Currently, Ms. Alla lives in a rented apartment, she undertakes various odd jobs to ensure a livelihood for herself and her daughters. Unfortunately, it is not able to raise enough funds for current fees and daily needs.
